FEATURING JESPER STORGAARD JENSEN
Nice to meet you, I am Jesper from Rome! Not a very Roman name? You guessed it! I am from Denmark but I have made the eternal city my home since 1997. Here I worked for ten years at the Danish embassy in Rome, dealing with Italian economics and politics. In 2008 I left the embassy to pursue my passions: journalism and photography. I love writing about Italian society –wine, food, travel articles, culture, politics, and interviewing people–and I have been published in 19 different countries worldwide. So far, I have published three travel guides about Rome and Italy, and a fourth guide –about Rome’s restaurants–was published in Denmark in December 2019. In April 2022, I published a very different book about Rome, “The invisible Rome,” a neorealist portrait of this incredible place.
