GLOSSARY
Ascending Alarm (Beep/Bell) An alarm which starts off softly and gradually becomes louder in stages.
Auto Constant Light When the clock is in darkness, it will automatically light up until the lighting condition of the environment becomes bright again.
Constant Light When the alarm is activated, the light will remain on for 8 hours and then turn off automatically.
Dual Chimes An electronic clock movement that can be set to select one of two chimes. These are most commonly Westminster/Whittington.
Electronic Luminous Dial Through the process of electro-luminescence, the dial or hands are illuminated at the touch of a button.
LumiBrite® With a full charge, LumiBrite glows in the dark hours longer than the conventional luminous type. A luminescent, environmentally friendly material that glows in the dark for a period of time without pushing a button or drawing energy from a battery.
Sweep Second Hand The second hand moves in one continuous motion and has the advantage of being extremely quiet while operating.
Snooze This alarm, once stopped, allows for three to five minutes additional sleep before the alarm rings again.
