Teams – Language Translation Translation feature allows you to communicate through language barriers in the chat. This is available via Teams application, browser, and should be available via mobile app.

Teams Retention Policy Retention policies allow you to comply with your organization's internal policies, industry regulations, or legal needs. These policies allow to delete data that's considered a liability, that is no longer required to keep, or has no business/legal value.


Things to Consider‌ Teams retention policies for chat and conversations are set up independent from other locations, such as SharePoint.


Also Consider‌ Private channel messages aren't supported. It may take up to three to seven days to clean up these messages and permanently delete them. Chat and channel messages will be searchable with eDiscovery tools between the time after the retention period expires and when messages are permanently deleted.


Teams App: Shifts – New Feature! Schedule management tool connected to a Team. Shares the membership (Members and Owners) of the Team. Members can submit leave requests. Owners can approve leave requests.


SCHEDULES Work shifts can be assigned to and shared with team members. CLOCK IN Clocking in and out, pausing for breaks via mobile app and in the desktop application soon!

SharePoint – New Feature! Create a list from Excel replaces Import Spreadsheet app functionality with a better user experience.


SharePoint List from Excel Your spreadsheet should have a table. Table should not have empty cells because required Title column will not let you import. Title column must be associated with at least one column of data.


SharePoint List from Excel The import process does not work in Internet Explorer.


SharePoint – Improved Feature Column Formatting - Basic formatting existed, but now there is Conditional Formatting with Rules. Available options: Row formatting Conditional column formatting with rules Column Type will display different formatting options

SharePoint List Formatting Applying formatting does not work in Internet Explorer.

Available sites are SharePoint Modern, Classic, and Group connected sites.


SharePoint Spaces SharePoint spaces introduces mixed reality experiences using 2D and 3D web parts. Space Design options include structures, backgrounds, and sound. Web parts are then added to the space: 3D objects, 360° images and videos, 2D images, files, and organization charts.
