Grade 2

Once upon a time

Stories connect people. In grade 2, we learned how stories have changed throughout the years and we also learned how stories shape the culture one lives in. We had amazing and enthusiastic parents who came to our zoom classes to share with us a story from their home countries. We also learned the different kinds of stories (fables, fairytales, folktales, etc.) and we became risk takers as we wrote our different stories. We really enjoyed learning about stories this unit and we thank God for the gift of creativity that He has given His creation.
