2019-2021… What a ride! We have experienced bumps, hang-ups, highs and lows, and finally, an ecstatic feeling of being back on campus with students with us! It is with great joy and pleasure seeing our students and slowly get back to a new normal with our hybrid set-up. Nothing compares to seeing children expressing their joy and enthusiasm for seeing their friends and teachers together in school.

We, teachers, care about everyone's health, not just physically but also in other aspects that involve the children's wellbeing. We have been cooped -up in our homes for almost two years. But now that we have found measures in knowing how to protect ourselves physically, it is about time to address children's social, mental, and emotional needs.

Getting out of our homes carefully and interacting with others helps a lot in securing these areas. Grade 6 is a specific stage where they go through a lot of change and development. We hope to be of help as a school community to be there during this stage. We thank the parents for their trust in allowing our students to slowly get back into the "new normal" with us.

Together we thrive!

We also thank the Lord for this opportunity He is giving us. We are blessed to work alongside the government and meticulous school admin to ensure learning and safety to be in their best place.

Grow and Flourish

Ms. Whitney, G5 Teacher

It has been a blessing to have our Grade 5 students on our campus. We have missed all the energy and life that the students bring to the classroom. The transition from home learning to hybrid learning has gone smoothly. We thank God for the technology that enables us to teach students at home and students in class simultaneously.

The teachers of grade 5 hope that as more students join hybrid, we will be able to grow closer in relationship with our students and provide for them the academic support they need to be flourishing learners. We are looking forward to seeing more familiar faces on campus soon!

God is The Center of All

Ms. Christine, G3 Teacher

Our hallways are filled with laughter and giggles that we’ve all missed so badly! We had a successful launch of our hybrid classes in grade 3 thanks to God and our amazing parents. Praying with our students in person and seeing their hard work has been such a blessing. It makes our hearts full whenever we hear the buzzing sounds of students inside our classrooms.

It is truly inspiring how resilient our children are and how much they have managed to grow despite all of the challenges. We’re incredibly thankful for the support that we’ve received from our parents during the whole Home Learning & Hybrid process as well. As we continue on with our hybrid procedures, we pray that God’s peace and joy will fill the hearts and minds of our students. Our prayer for our students is that God will be at the center of it all,

.. for He is the source of our strength.

We will continue to strive to establish a safe, flourishing, and lively learning environment at SPH as we proceed into more hybrid classes! May we all become truth seekers as we grow and learn together in the Lord.
