Welcome Home Kindy & Grade 1!

I am confident that I am not the only one who has eagerly waited for school to reopen and for teachers and students to be able to, once again, roam the hallways of SPH Kemang Village. Those of us who spend time on the first floor of our school building have even more of a reason to anticipate returning to school because our entire floor looks brand NEW! I had the privilege of visiting this space a few weeks ago. I was stunned by the color and the light that occupied the space. The hallway and classrooms are filled with inviting color combinations and small details that will make students feel welcome!

As with all our school improvement projects, the goal is to enhance student learning. I am excited about the opportunities that we will have on the first floor to see how an improved space will invite students to learn and create in new ways. New Soccer Field Update

As the grass grows in on our new soccer field, the excitement and anticipation of our community grows in equal measure. The opening of this new outdoor space will bring many new opportunities for our students and the school community. From outdoor field days to hosting soccer games, these occasions are becoming less of a dream and more of a coming reality with each passing day.

Our school has developed a quality sports program over the past several years with high student participation rates, and we are excited about the continued growth and development of these programs with this new outdoor soccer field! Introducing the capacity for field games, sports, and training will greatly enhance how we offer physical education and sports programs in our school community.

As we make progress towards a return to inperson learning, we also look forward to the return of our sports programs to in-person learning, development, and competition with our athletes. The time away from the school has been long but we are confident that the nearing return to sports will be that much sweeter with the new facilities and a renewed excitement and vision for sport in our school community!

Playground and Outdoor Court

Very soon, we will have a brand new Play Space for our Junior School students occupying over 500 square meters adjacent to our canteen. Professionally designed to stimulate creative free play, the playground structure will safely challenge students to develop both fine and gross motor skills while also encouraging them to participate in collaborative activities. We anticipate this ongoing project to be completed in early 2022.
