Cripps Court September 2012 Morgan Sindall have commenced construction work on Cripps Court. The project consists of refurbishment of the student accommodation & associated gyp rooms. Our newsletters are intended to provide you with details of how we intend to undertake the work. Our project team aim to have minimum impact to the College and surrounding neighbours during construction.

Works Completed on M and N Staircase So far, we have, stripped out the building back to its shell ready for the construction of the new accommodation and gyp rooms.

The project is split into 3 Phases, as detailed below: Phase 1 – Stairs M & N –

07/2012 – 03/2013

Phase 2 – Stairs J,K & L – 04/2013 – 12/2013 Phase 3 – Stairs H & I –

01/2014 – 09/2014

Meet the Team

We have enclosed the building in scaffold and provided a temporary roof to protect it whilst we undergo the refurbishment works

Ongoing & Upcoming Works

Nigel Arnold:

We are currently carrying out concrete strengthening works, which involves drilling holes into the concrete frame and inserting pellets.

We are also installing new services along the rear access road.

The original roof coverings are being removed thus enabling us to begin the construction of the new 4th floor infill rooms. We are soon to commence the construction of blockwork walls to form the new rooms, also the Mechanical & Electrical installation throughout the building.
