Trips ranged from volunteer teaching in India to mapping geology in the USA, from medical internships in a Nepalese leprosy hospital to vet work in a wildlife sanctuary in South Africa. These once-in-a-lifetime opportunities would not be possible without the travel bursaries.

In 2012 our Telephone Campaign focussed on fundraising for the Supervision System. The funds raised were equivalent to the cost of over

supervisions. Your support has helped us to secure and sustain this cornerstone of a Cambridge education, which provides the highest quality teaching possible.
Selwyn organists were awarded Fellowship of the Royal College of Organists – an extraordinary achievement! Congratulations Oliver Hancock (SE 2010), Tim Parsons (SE 2011) and Ian Tindale (SE 2008).

school groups have, this year, visited Selwyn College for the day to find out what it would be like to study here. Accompanied by our Schools Liaison Officer, pupils have the chance to ask questions, meet Tutors and learn more about studying at Cambridge. School visits are a key part of our widening participation and access work.

a year is currently being raised by our new Friends of the Choir membership scheme. The scheme has had great support so far and is already generating vital funds for the Choir.
£6,000
in sports bursaries was distributed to students to help cover the key costs of essential kit, club subscriptions and training camps. This year we gave out bursaries to sportsmen and women participating in everything from football to fencing, from gymnastics to rifle shooting, from dancesport to ultimate frisbee. Thanks to your support, we were able to give out £1,000 more than last year.
