models + sketches
Models and sketches created throughout my experience in the Interiors program. In the Second year of the Interiors program, there was a large focus on model and material studies. I was able to understand the relationship between certain materials by experimenting with chipboard, cement, sheet metal, hot glue, paint, tissue paper, wax and matboard. These models were done to help understand how materials and form can create something together, like reflection. During my fourth year, I took a DIY Maker class to help complete my certification in Digital Literacy where I designed and laser cut a lighting fixture.

The sketches are collected from different years within the program, including quick sketches to detailed sketches. Mediums used included pencil and watercolor. Inspiration came from project ideas, museum exhibits, and well-known architecture structures like Frank Lloyd Wright’s, Falling Water.
