El Retiro, perfectly located in close proximity to Malaga, is a privately owned and indescribably exclusive property, covering approx. 500.000 m2 of pristine botanical gardens. It has a history dating back to the 16th century, which is closely connected to a son of King Felipe IV., the creator of the world renowned Retiro gardens of Madrid.

A rejuvenated historic ensemble and true jewel, aiming to become one of Eruope’s and the world’s leading cultural retreats. The master project consists of four important components - EL PRIVÉ, with its 16 extraordinary villa suites; a new development, Las Puertas al Paraíso, with 32 cottage style suits and private pools; the ChefAcademy, and the already existing exclusive event venue El Realengo.
