FOR THE LOVE OF CATS... For millenia, no domesticated creature has captured and inflamed polarizing emotions like the cat. Whether revered as divinity or despised due to social and religious repugnance, mankind has historically been moved by our furry, neurotic companions we can’t seem to live without. For that very reason, Selkirk Auctioneers & Appraisers is proud to offer a selection of 100+ feline themed lots from the collection of Patricia Sue Villmer. A percentage of the proceeds from the sale of those lots will benefit Pets Are Wonderful Support (PAWS), a proud program of Vivent Health. Facing ongoing pet expenses and the sheer physical effort involved with pet care, many people living with HIV/AIDS consider giving up their pets. This potential loss comes at a time when people need their pet's unconditional love the most. PAWS helps people living with HIV/AIDS keep their pets as long as possible by providing pet food and veterinary care assistance to keep pets healthy, strong and by the side of their human family.
