THE REASON WHY Selle San Marcoâ&#x20AC;&#x2122;s Mission Performance Ride is the result of the experience gained during 80 years of history and developed through extensive medical studies and analysis in collaboration with biomechanical experts, and then tested in the field by professionals and amateurs athletes. By using our DiMA SELECTOR tool, you can enter various parameters to find the saddle most suitable for you. DiMA selector does not merely analyze your physical characteristics, but also collects data related to the set-up of your bike and your style of riding. The new San Marco range has been designed and built specifically to meet the different characteristic the Mission Performance Ride identifies as fundamental to satisfy the needs of all athletes. San Marco is pleased to have developed a range of saddles for this project: four basic models - two featuring cut-out nose sections and two that provide a total area of support. All are available in two widths.

SENSITIVITY TO PRESSURE Express your level of sensitivity to the pressure on the perineum, choosing among: • High (Suggested for beginners) • Moderate • Low (No pressure sensitivity)

BODY TYPE Establish your body type using the three macro categories of the system of classification called “somatotype”. • Endomorph is well-built with a large bone structure. • Ectomorph is slim with thin bones/limbs. • Mesomorph includes all the other cases.

HEIGHT DIFFERENCE HANDLEBAR TO SADDLE Measure the height difference between the top of the saddle and the top of the handlebar. This delta is matched with one of the three categories listed here: • DELTA HIGH for values more than 10 cm for road bike and more than 5 cm for mountain bike, • DELTA MEDIUM if the value is between 5 cm and 10 cm for road bike and between 5 cm and 2 cm for mountainbike. • DELTA LOW for values less than 5 cm for road bike and less than 2 cm for mountain bike.

RIDE STYLE Select the style of saddle you prefer: • WAVED (curved profile): you sit against the back and pedal from a fixed position. You like the support of the waved back during steep climbs. • FLAT (straight profile): you prefer to use the entire length of the saddle, moving frequently forward and back. 7

Delta saddle to handlebar Your riding position on the bike depends on the difference between the height of the saddle and that of the handlebar. â&#x20AC;&#x201C; DELTA HIGH If the height difference between the saddle (the point where the saddle is 72 mm wide) and the top of the handlebar is more than 6 cm for road bikes and more than 3 cm for mountain bikes. â&#x20AC;&#x201C; DELTA LOW when the handlebar-to-saddle delta is lower than 6 cm for road bikes and 3 cm for mountain bikes. 47
