Ben and Kelly Hain raised their two children, Ben and Amelia on the family farm. The 160- acre property was originally purchased by Ben’s great-grandparents Gustave and Ernestine Hain in 1896. Ben and Kelly took over the farm from Ben’s parents, Joe and June (pictured, 92) in 1990 and raised beef and dairy cows. Today, they grow oats, corn and soybeans, and enjoy having chickens, ducks and guinea hens.
