Hello! I am a fourth year architecture student at School of Architecture and Planning, Anna University. I greatly enjoy conversations about Art, Architecture and its relationship with Human Behaviour. Finding a new experience will always keep me on my toes.My interest lies in research ,critical analysis, brainstorming and arriving at an egilitarian solution. I believe in a multi-disciplinary design approach which is adaptive, inclusive and responsive. Through this internship, I would like to deepen my knowledge and exposure in this field, as it is all about enjoying the process rather than the destination.

Sustainability is the need of the hour to prepare for the future. The most dynamic,evolving and happening city of Surat, with its diverse population encourages a need to create a self-evolving sustainable community with spaces of interaction and well being.The design approach emphasises on vitality,equity and imageability. Apart-mending enhances a vertical community by concepts of passive cooling,reducing carbon emissions,incorporating green spaces,user flexibility and a human centric design with breathable outdoors and indoors.The climate resilient design is achieved in response to its microclimate, topography and user behaviour pattern.

INTENT The project is an approach for re-imagining the malls in chennai and aims to fill Porur with healthy and happy air. By weaving the greenscapes into the fabric of people life,it acts as a portal where people can have an unparalleled indoor-outdoor experience, escaping the busy world.The spaces are variants of pause and play,with concept of Intersection, Interconnection,Integration. The central space is recovered as a common breathing field for people. The spaces set its own volume, mood, program, and aesthetics.

ABOUT Design + Construction Status : Ongoing Role: Design development Working drawings Estimation A project under execution by AAKAM constructions.The brief was to design a 3BHK house for a family of four,following the Vaastu principles.The budget for the project was low and so we had to look into cost effective solutions. The process of looking into local markets, their pricing and having to choose materials for the project was interesting and I had a very good experience working on this project.
