The “LuxuryToiletInitiative” was recentlyinauguratedviaapilot projectat “TheBerawa,” a parkinglotforBerawaBeachin NorthKuta.Inrealizingthe project,theTourismMinistryis
collaboratingwith “Toiletuntuk Negeri” (Lixil.Jamban.id), Tukang .com, EthisIndonesia,Gringgo, and Frday).

TheBerawaToilet is theprototypefora nationwideprogram tocreate1,000highqualitytoiletsin leadingtourismdestinations suchasBali,LakeToba, Mandalika,andKupang.“The measureofprogressandquality inmanytourismvillagesisthe qualityoftoiletfacilitiesavailable totourists,”saidSandiaga.
