40 mask rule violators caught in Denpasar within 1 hour The Public Order Agency (Satpol PP) in Denpasar said his team caught 40 mask rule violators during that relatively short period, 22 of whom were subject to IDR100,000 (US$7) fines each.

In a perfect illustration of relaxed attitudes towards mask wearing in Bali, dozens of people were caught without their masks at a random checkpoint in Denpasar today, with authorities collecting about IDR2.2 million in fines in an hour.

Bali has implemented a mandatory mask rule since last September, with violators subject to either fines or other forms of punishments. This time around, the remaining 18 from the group were either subjected to pushups, asked to recite the Pancasila, or sing the national anthem. The chief of Satpol PP Denpasar, I Dewa Gede Anom Sayoga, said that

the violators had given a variety of excuses when caught. “They said they forgot their masks, didn’t want to use masks any longer because it suffocates them, while others said that the virus didn’t exist any more,” Sayoga said. “This random check isn’t meant to punish the public, but to ask everyone to be disciplined and [help] prevent COVID-19 transmissions. It’s better to prevent than treat an illness,” he added. (coconuts.co)

The head of the Bali office for the Ministry of Law and Human Rights, Jamaruli Manihuruk told the press that Kevin and Celine are believed to have arrived in Bali at either the end of April or early May, and intended to make a porn video on the island adding that they did not report back to the villa owner when they left and that they might be blacklisted and won’t be able to enter Indonesia again in the future. According to some news channels data from the Indonesian immigration shows that the two main actors have left the country already and have returned to their home country which would mean that their real identities are, regardless of the official statements made by the authorities in Bali, actually known. According to him the idea was born after the authorities received a number of requests to take prewedding photos inside the airport by professional photographers and couples who wanted a pre-wedding photo-shoot a little different from the normal ones. “Although we haven’t had any bookings yet, we received good response while promoting it on social media.” Yudhistira concluded. 4

Back To School Indonesia To Reopen Schools Under Strict Health Protocols On Monday last week the Indonesian President, Joko Widodo, has officially given his approval for the schools in Indonesia to reopen and to restart face-to-face learning again more than one year after all schools nationwide have been closed due the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic since, at least, the middle of last year.

Minister of Health, Budi Gunadi Sadikin, told reporters at a press conference held at the State Palace in Jakarta last week adding that the school reopening policy requires all teacher and staff to be fully vaccinated against COVID-19. Unfortunately this vaccination requirement won’t protect anyone else than the teachers themselves as even a fully vaccinated person can still carry the SARS-CoV-2 virus and can transmit it to others.

But this approval comes with some conditions. The maximum capacity is limited to 25% of the students and individual student are only permitted to attend Sadikin stressed that face-toschool on two days per week for face in-person learning is not two hours the Indonesian mandatory and that parents can

So they want to tell Joe a horrible story the next day. They think that Joe cannot find a positive side to this horrible story. So the next day, only two of his friends come to play golf. Joe asks, “Where’s Gary?” One of his friends says, “Yesterday, Gary saw his wife in bed with another man, he killed them both, and then he killed himself.” Joe says, “Well, it could have been worse.” Both his friends say, “How could it be worse? Your best friend killed himself!” Joe says, “If it was two days ago, I would be dead now!” The new employee stood before the paper shredder and was looking confused. “Do you need some help?” a secretary asked. “Yes,” he replied, “how does this thing work?” “It’s simple,” she said, taking the fat report from his hand and putting it into the shredder. “Thanks, but where do the copies come out?” Reaching the end of a job interview, the Human Resources Officer asks a young engineer fresh out of the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, "And what starting salary are you looking for?" The engineer replies, "In the region of $125,000 a year, depending on the benefits package." The interviewer inquires, "Well, what would you say to a package of five weeks vacation, 14 paid holidays, full medical and dental, company matching retirement fund to 50% of salary, and a company car leased every two years, say, a red Corvette?" The engineer sits up straight and says, "Wow! Are you kidding?" The interviewer replies, "Yeah, but you started it." Four men are in the hospital waiting room because their wives are having babies. A nurse approaches the first guy and says, “Congratulations! You're the father of twins.” “That's odd,” answers the man. “I work for the Minnesota Twins!” A nurse then yells the second man, “Congratulations! You're the father of triplets!” “That's weird,” answers the second man. “I work for the 3M company!” A nurse goes up to the third man saying, “Congratulations! You're the father of quadruplets." “That's strange,” he answers. “I work for the Four Seasons hotel!” The last man begins groaning and banging his head against the wall. “What's wrong?” the others ask. “I work for 7 Up!” Teacher: "Anyone who thinks he's stupid may stand up!" For sure nobody stands up Teacher: "I'm sure there are some stupid students over here!!" Little Johnny stands up. Teacher: "Johnny do you think you're stupid?" Little Johnny: "No, I just feel bad to see you standing there alone..."
