REHABILITATION FACILITIES
Rehabilitation Facilities offer full restorative therapies such as Physical, Occupational, Speech and/or Respiratory therapies and can be offered in a variety of settings including stand-alone buildings or as part of a clinical practice or existing skilled-care nursing facility. Rehabilitation Facilities can only be accessed following a hospital stay as an inpatient in a general hospital setting which has lasted for a certain number of days. Refer to our Skilled Nursing grid on pages 184-197 for an overview of skilled nursing center rehabs and the in-patient/out-patient services they provide.
