Senatori CARMINE and TOMMASO SENISE Tommaso Senise was born in this house of Corleto Perticara (Largo Senise 1) on February 2, 1848. A shabby memorial tablet, nearby the main door, commended him. He lived in this house with his brother Carmine Senise who was an Italian Politician.

Oscar Fredrik Wijkman Oscar Fredrik Wijkman (1841-1909) was an entrepreneur and municipal politician in Västerås. He was generally called "the God Father". In 1874, Wijkman founded Västerås Mekaniska Verkstad (WMW) as the first major industry in Västerås. In 1890, Wijkman had the country's first major electric power plant installed in his company. Wijkman was of crucial importance for the newly formed ASEA establishing itself in Västerås in 1892 (Chairman of the board of ASEA 1891-1909). In 1897, Oscar Fredrik Wijkman founded Nordiska Metall. WMW was transformed into Västerås Lantbruksmaskiner (from 1908 Västeråsmaskiner) which was established in Morgongåva. Oscar Fredrik Wijkman is the great great grandfather to my sister Cecilia Wijkman

Year 2021, this giant in the business world would have turned 100 years old. As an engineer at Svenska Turbinfabriks AB in Finspång, Curt René Nicolin led the development of Sweden's first jet engines. During his time as CEO of ASEA, the company achieved great success, becoming the third country in the world - after the United States and the Soviet Union - to develop and build complete nuclear power plants. MAX GUMPEL, co-founder of Stockholm’s swimming club SK Neptun, Olympic swimmer and water polo player. A master builder, and owned a leading construction company in Sweden. He had an affair with movie star Greta Garbo and they stayed in contact for life. Gumpel had a strong interest in boats and cars. He owned the motorboat Laila and the skerry cruiser La Liberté designed by Erik Salander.

in that date, I was in an especial flight by Pan Am to New York…landed at JFK in the same time at Apollo Eleven touched down the moon with Neil Armstrong. My first flight back with British Airways was done by the first with no pilot flying the plane, arriving at Heathrow Airport.
