In the News with Council of Social Agencies,Inc.(COSA) Collaborate to Create the Community of Your Dreams! February, 2012

ISSUE #7

I want to take this time to thank the membership for giving me the opportunity to serve as your 2010 & 2011 President. I also must thank the other officers and board members which I served. Serving on the board is a fulfilling experience I hope many members will seriously consider. It is an opportunity to associate with many professionals from different organizations and keep COSA in the forefront. Serving did not come without challenges. COSA has reached out several times to expand the membership to include more service agencies. This challenge is passed to you, the membership. It was a privilege to serve the membership and I call upon all members to recognize the officers and board members, who voluntarily donate their time to bring knowledge and fellowship to St. Lucie County. While leaders provide direction, it takes many, working together, to reach the destination. I wish COSA the best in 2012! Pamela A. Springer

New Board Members: Donna Roberts, President Stephanie Meyers, 1st Vice President Jo Woods, 2nd Vice-President Loren Molan, Director Theresa Farness, Director Cris Adams, Co-Secretary Lisa Beatty, Co-Secretary

Teresa started out teaching the women every second, Sunday night of each month and counseled women spiritually as needed, which has now branched out into a network of teaching, and counseling all over the world.
