OPERATION: REGULAR MOVIE FILES /.MOV, .AVI ETC./
First make sure your input movie can be opened and played in QuickTime...Please note that for AVI > DVD conversion you have to install some additional decoding components /all freeware/ like is explained here. Also make sure you have installed latest MPEG2 Component for QuickTime. Now, drop your movie /.mov, .avi/ onto orange drop box /"Drop your movie here" section/...Only ONE input file is allowed...If you want to encode multiple files in a batch please use one of the batch sections /PAL or NTSC/...Some info’s about your movie will be checked and that should take few seconds or more depending on a speed of your Mac...During checking of the info’s application may look like its frozen, but do not worry - everything is fine...

Now all you have to do is to click "Start" button...Dialog will pop-up asking you to set DVD name...Now, when you have DVD name set, second dialog will pop-up asking you to choose output folder... Make sure you have at least 7Gb /gigabytes/ free on destination HDD for 120 minutes movie since MPEG2 Works 4 needs some extra space for some temporary files which will be deleted at the end of the processing. At the end of the process you should have DVD image /.img/ made - authored and chaptered, ready for burning...Mount image by double-clicking it and launch Apple DVD player application /on some systems DVD player app will launch automatically if that is set under System Preferences/...Movie should start playing and you can check is everything ok... If everything is fine, eject the mounted DVD image /like you are doing with CDs or DVDs/, close the "One-click DVD" section with "Close" button and navigate to Advanced Authoring section /command+d or choose it from "Window" menu/ and burn created DVD image /.img/ using the "Burn DVD image /.img/" button located at the bottom-left corner... ENCODING IMOVIE PROJECTS:
Capture, edit and add chapter markers to your movie in Apple iMovie application...Then just Save project using the "Save" command from "File" menu /make sure to empty trash within iMovie before saving/.
