One thing you definitely will not find in the Upper Engadin is boredom. The range of leisure activities is simply too wide. In summer and in winter, hikers and climbers flock to this stunning landscape to enjoy countless routes of various degrees of difficulty. Mountain-bikers and inline-skaters are not left wanting, while golfers at the 18-hole-course of Samedan and the 18-hole-course in Zuoz-Madulain can improve their handicap surrounded by the fabulous Alpine scenery. Athletes on snow and ice are also catered for, as well as those who prefer water sports. The region has plenty of pools and countless mountain lakes that are ideal for paddling; surfing while the Engadin’s rich stock of fish makes it a true paradise for amateur anglers. But should you just wish to relax and let yourself be spoiled, the region’s many wellness oases are just waiting to welcome you.
