USA REPRESENTATION SERVICE IDEAS

It Started With An Ashtray.

Over seventy years ago, Art Murray had a vision of how to improve service. Today, his legacy continues through Service Ideas.

Art Murray was an entrepreneur and a restaurateur. His first invention, in 1946, was a domed ashtray with a “Push-for-Service” light used to signal wait staff in his nationally acclaimed restaurant, Murray’s Steakhouse.

In the early ‘70s, Art’s son Patrick extended the product line to include beverageware, securing Service Ideas’ position as a superior provider in the service industry.

Three generations later, both Murray’s and Service Ideas continue the long tradition of great service and quality products.
