In addition to its functional and aesthetic qualities, the Børge Mogensen Select Collection draws upon the 100 plus years o f Fr e d e r i c i a’s m a n u fa c t u r i n g e x p e r i e n c e. The structured, yet fluid, visual shape of the collection requires a selection of only the finest materials. From the solid hardwood frame construction, to the carefully measured ratio of foam to feather in the cushions, the collection is thoroughly uncompromising. The bull hides used at Fredericia are of the highest calibre, from animals that have been raised under strict ethical guidelines.

Sofa 2333 was the last piece of furniture Børge Mogensen would finish before he died in 1972, at only 58 years old. As demonstrated throughout the Select Collection, he transformed the time-honoured upholstering traditions of Fredericia into a contemporar y geometrical and minimalist design.
