STEREO collection design Luca Nichetto 2008

STEREO è un sistema di sedute che coniuga linearità e sinuosità e che è in grado di arricchire la classicità del design con un estroso dettaglio. La scocca in polipropilene, lucida nella parte posteriore e opaca nella parte anteriore, è il principio su cui si fondano tutte le declinazione del concept STEREO: sedie a quattro gambe, su slitta impilabili, girevoli con alzata a gas e sgabelli. Nel 2011 la collezione si impreziosisce grazie a STEREO WOOD, la nuova versione con gambe in rovere naturale che conferiscono alla seduta un aspetto più caldo e confortevole. Ogni tipologia di seduta ha l’opzione dei braccioli e può essere parzialmente o totalmente rivestita.

STEREO is a seating system which combines linearity and sinuosity enriching the classing design with a creative detail. The polypropylene seat which is glossy on the rear and opaque in front constitutes the principle underpinning all the variations of the STEREO concept: stackable, sleigh base or swivel chair with gas lift or stool. The 2011 new version with natural oak legs embellishes the collections giving a sense of warmth and comfort to the chair. All seats can be either partially or completely upholstered.

LIGHTABLE design Rosaria Copeta 2009 Volumi ridotti e linee essenziali caratterizzano “LIGHTABLE” composto da un piano in melaminico o in laminato ed esili gambe in metallo verniciato. La gamba dalla forma ellittica si assottiglia verso il basso diventando un tubolare circolare e si congiunge all’estremità opposta in modo fluido. Una presenza “silenziosa” ridotta al minimo, che si integra con diversi stili d’arredo e si inserisce con semplicità anche al fianco di arredi dalla forte valenza espressiva. Un oggetto “neutrale” progettato con l’intento di ristabilire nell’arredamento il giusto equilibrio per un’ armonia compositiva.

Reduced volumes and minimal lines characterise the LIGHTABLE. The table consists of a work surface in melamine or laminate combined with slender coloured metal legs. A silent ‘presence’ that integrates perfectly with spaces of all types and styles. Subtle and understated, the Lightable’s rigorous simplicity allows it to coexist perfectly with more decisive and strident pieces. A neutral piece which adds a sense of composition and harmony to the spaces it furnishes.

AL design Marco Zito 2008 Famiglia di tavoli fissi caratterizzata da linee essenziali e morbide. Le gambe, realizzate in pressofusione di alluminio lucido o verniciato, si accostano plasticamente ai piani concepiti in diversi materiali e finiture. Un sistema flessibile in grado di cambiare facilmente connotazione grazie alle possibilità offerte dalle diverse dimensioni e finiture. Un tavolo che s’ingrandisce, cambia forma ma mantiene la sua unica funzione: offrire un piano di lavoro o un posto per condividere momenti con la famiglia ed amici.

A collection of fixed tables characterised by soft yet simple lines. The legs created in pressure fused aluminium are joined to a series of different table tops in different materials and finishes, from coloured glass to opaque lacquers attached to the upper edge. A flexible system capable of changing its impact thanks to the possibilities offered by the different dimensions and finishes. A table which grows and changes form but maintains its basic functionality: to offer a place to work or a place to share moments with friends and family.

VAD collection design Luca Nichetto 2006 Il sedersi diviene automaticamente un accomodarsi con VAD, la cui scocca (pezzo unico in polipropilene, rinforzato e riciclabile ottenuto con stampaggio ad iniezione) avvolgente, morbida e flessuosa concede un comfort assoluto. Eâ&#x20AC;&#x2122; disponibile nelle versioni a quattro gambe impilabili, girevole, con rivestimento in tessuto della scocca e, novitĂ Salone 2011, con gambe in rovere naturale. Questa famiglia di sedute, adatte ad ambienti interni, esterni o al mondo del contract, si completa grazie al tavolino da caffĂ¨.

The wrapping body of the VAD chair, produced in recyclable reinforced polypropylene by means of injection moulding in a single block, permits an absolute comfort. It is available in the stackable version, with swivel base and with natural oak legs. VAD seat family, suitable for indoor, outdoor or contract environments, is completed thanks to the coffee table.

MARRAKECH design Ton Haas 2001 Sgabello impilabile. La seduta, come un ideale copricapo, è in polipropilene ed è caratterizzata da un foro centrale che facilita lo spostamento dello sgabello stesso. La struttura è in metallo prezincato verniciato, in tinta con la seduta.

Stackable stool. Like a perfect hat, the polypropylene seat is characterised by a large hole, handy for moving the stool with ease. The structure is in pre-galvanized painted metal in the same colours as the seat.

SOS design Josh Owen 2008 Pensato per i momenti conviviali e di relax, le sue simpatiche appendici laterali possono fungere da portabicchieri o da maniglie (es: utilizzandolo come vassoio) o gancio. Capovolto diventa un allegro ed originale vaso/contenitore. Prodotto in polietilene tinto in massa è adatto all’utilizzo sia interno che esterno. “Ho sempre provato interesse per gli sgabelli piccoli. Comunemente considerati meno interessanti che le sedie come oggetto di studio dai designer, sono una categoria di sedute in generale trascurata. Il nome S.O.S deriva dal segnale di allarme utilizzato in ambito navale : il suo significato originale, infatti, è “Save Our Ship” (salvate la ns nave). Come una zattera, lo sgabello SOS è un’isola fluttuante di utilità che va oltre i parametri di quello che viene considerata comunemente una seduta temporanea.”

Created for relaxed, convivial moments. The two elements attached to the seat can be used as cup-holders, handles (for use as a tray) or hooks. Turned upside-down it becomes a fun and unusual vase or container. Created in mass-coloured polyethylene it is suitable for both indoor and outdoor use “I have always been interested in small stools. Commonly considered less desirable than chairs as an object of study for designers, they are a seating category often overlooked in general. Now synonymous with a distress signal, S.O.S. began as a naval term: the original meaning was “Save Our Ship”. Like a life-raft, the SOS Stool is a floating island of utility that extends beyond the parameters of what we consider a temporary seat.”

design C.S.C 2007 Poltrona trasformabile in un letto di emergenza ad una piazza. E’ realizzata in poliuretano e il rivestimento completamente sfoderabile è previsto in vari tessuti. Lea viene chiusa da cinghie elastiche con ganci cromati. Il cuscino a rollo in poliuretano viene utilizzato sia in versione poggia schiena sia per regolare l’altezza dello schienale quando è aperta in versione letto.

Chair easily transformable into a useful guest bed. Built in polyurethane, the removable upholstery is available in different kinds of fabric. Lea is closed by means of elastic straps with chromed hooks. A rollo cushion in polyurethane can be used both as backrest and in order to adjust the backrest height in the bed version.

MORFINO design C.S.C. 2005 Poltroncina e pouf realizzati con palline di polistirene espanso e rivestiti in similpelle. Privi di strutture rigide e parti contundenti. Caratterizzati da un design leggermente concavo per raccogliere ed avvolgere il corpo. Pensata per i grandi la linea morfino è disponibile anche in misure ridotte per i bambini fino ai nove anni. Ideale arredo per zone giorno, camerette o zone gioco in ambienti domestici o spazi comunitari.

Lounge chair and ottoman realized in expanded polystyrene balls and covered in leatherette. No rigid or blunt parts. Characterized by a slightly concave design in order to receive and envelop the body. Designed for adults, morfino line is available also for children from 0 to 9 years old. Ideal for living room, children’s bedrooms or play rooms in domestic or community spaces.

POLLON POUF design C.S.C. 2005 Ha la forma di un cilindro bombato. Realizzato con palline di polistirene espanso e rivestito in similpelle è privo di strutture rigide e parti contundenti. Possibilità di rivestirlo con tessuto drenante per uso esterno.

The pollon ottoman is characterized by a rounded, cylindrical shape. This ottoman is stuffed with expanded polystyrene balls and is covered in leatherette and has no rigid or blunt parts. It can be covered with waterproof fabric for outdoor use.

Grazie alla sua forma scultorea, Snake diventa portaoggetti, libreria scaffalatura e tanto altro. Realizzata in polietilene tinto in massa ottenuto mediante stampaggio rotazionale.

Sometimes an object can provide more than one furnishing solution in order to care for our requirements. Thanks to its simple scultural shape, snake can be a rack for holding miscellaneous object, a bookcase, a shelf and much more.

URBAN

design Claudio Bellini 2009 Un modulo ad elle di un metro e quaranta per trentacinque centimetri di profondità, utilizzabile in qualunque verso, privo di vincoli ed agganci, che consente di realizzare pareti, divisori, elementi verticali, orizzontali, angoli, piccole panche, consolle porta tv, hi-fi…qualsiasi cosa. Le nicchie ricavate nel pezzo fanno risaltare la massa di questo oggetto solido, monolitico, sempre attuale ed indifferente alle mode. Le infinite aggregazioni ed un’ampia gamma di colori, consentono inoltre di dar vita a sorprendenti paesaggi che arredano lo spazio in modo solare e dinamico.L’apparente semplicità della libreria Urban in realtà nasconde una grande sfida tecnologica: realizzare un elemento in materiale plastico, polietilene, dalle grandi superfici planari in stampaggio.

The ‘L’ shaped module measuring 140x 35cm can be used in any position. A system without hooks or joins allows the user to create walls, screens, horizontal and vertical elements; angles, benches, entertainment systems – anything at all. The niches carved out of the piece underline the monolithic and solid nature of the Urban shelving unit. A modern piece which stands above the whims of fashion. The infinite possibilities of composition and the a vast choice of colours allow the user to create surprising landscapes and furnish their spaces in a dynamic and bright manner. The apparent simplicity of the Urban shelving unit contrasts with the technical difficulties encountered in the rotational moulding of a plastic object with large flat surfaces.

design Przemysław “Mac” Stopa 2011 Chimica e design: due mondi apparentemente distanti che però si cercano, si incontrano e si intersecano nel nuovo progetto di Przemysław “Mac” Stopa. La panca a 3 posti Hexagon, in tondino di metallo prezincato verniciato per interni ed esterni, deve la sua struttura formata da esagoni aperti e ripiegati su se stessi ad una ricerca su elementi che, come particelle e atomi, si declinano in una modularità potenzialmente infinita.

Chemistry and design are two worlds seemingly distant from each other which come together; meeting and mixing in new project by Przemysław “Mac” Stopa. The three-seater bench, in painted, pregalvanized metal is suitable for both outdoor and indoor use. The distinctive hexagonal structure is born from research into cells and atoms which develop into a potentially infinite modularity.

Il fissaggio è previsto direttamente a terra. ALBERTO può essere utilizzato anche singolarmente, come oggetto di decoro o appendiabiti, mediante una base quadrata in metallo. Il filo non è incluso.

Ironic clothes horse produced in polyethylene by means of rotational moulding, the garden-friendly ALBERTO is both sunlight and water resistant. Alberto is designed to be fixed directly to the floor. By adding the specially designed square metal base, Alberto can also be used singularly, as a decorative object or coathook. The cord is not included.

design Karim Rashid 2006 In aeroporto, hotel, teatro, ufficio o altro spazio pubblico, Koon si distingue per il design elegante. Può contenere un’ampia quantità di spazzatura e in più offre a chiunque passi la possibilità di usare il posacenere. Realizzato in polietilene, Koon è perfetto sia all’interno che all’ esterno degli ambienti potendo tranquillamente resistere ad acqua e sole.

Whether found in an airport, theatre, hotel or office building, Koon offer itself as a sleek design ready to accept an ample ammount of trash, and in addition offers its services and convenient ashtray as well. Made in polyethylene, Koon is suitable for indoors and outdoors, as it is water and sunlight resistant.

KORZINA

design Karim Rashid 2006 Il suo nome significa cestino, ma Korzina è utilissimo anche per nascondere tutti quegli oggetti inutili e invadenti che occupano il nostro spazio. Korzina è realizzato in polietilene tinto in massa ottenuto mediante stampaggio rotazionale. La parte esteriore è disponibile in due finiture: verniciatura protettiva opaca o verniciatura lucida.

It takes its name from the Russian language, translating simply as “can”, but Korzina is much more: attentive to our needs to dispense unwanted objects and materials that clutter our space. Korzina is produced in polyethylene and solution-dryed by means of rotational moulding. The exterior is available in two finishes: opaque protective paint or polished paint.

ZONTIK

design Karim Rashid 2006 Zontik, unico per servizio e funzionalità, mantiene l’ordine razionalizzando i contenuti. Dotato infatti di sei appositi fori, raccoglie e trattiene l’acqua che gocciola dagli ombrelli mantenendo asciutto il pavimento. Il portaombrelli Zontik è realizzato in polietilene tinto in massa ottenuto mediante stampaggio rotazionale. La parte esteriore è disponibile in due finiture: verniciatura protettiva opaca o verniciatura lucida.

Zontik, unique for its usefulness and functionality, maintains organization yet also displays the contents. Zontik offers six umbrella apertures and diligently collects and contains any water that may drip from wet umbrellas in a threat to spoil other interiors. The Zontik umbrella stand is produced in polyethylene and solution-dyed by means of rotational moulding. The exterior is available in two finishes: opaque protective paint or polished paint.

KUBE - CUBO TAVOLINO design Loris Lucatello 2007 Cubotavolino: un modo diverso di pensare il tavolo su cui scrivere. Quindi anche un modo diverso di pensare la scrittura e soprattutto il disegno. Come complemento d’arredo questo cubo su ruote, fatto di plexigas e pile di carta, è molto versatile. Può stare ovunque: nella cameretta di un bambino, in uno studio grafico, in una scuola, nello studio di un professionista, nella casa di tutti (magari in un angolo), sempre pronto ad essere utilizzato e a diventare il centro di interesse e soprattutto un affidabile strumento per lavoro e per lo svago. design Karim Rashid 2006 ll portapenne Koop, disegnato da Karim Rashid, è un oggetto per la scrivania unico e funzionale. Risponde a queste esigenze presentandosi come una casetta accogliente da porre sopra la scrivania per contenere penne e matite, che si possono prendere attraverso un’apertura a forma di croce. Ma non finiscono qui le applicazioni di quest’oggetto. Basta capovolgerlo e la forma diventa perfetta per contenere graffette o altri piccoli oggetti di cancelleria. Realizzato in alluminio, Koop può essere aperto in senso orizzontale per essere perfettamente pulito.

design Giancarlo Dall’Omo 2007 Non solo oggetto d’arredo, ma anche lampada a forma di gatto che entra in casa interpretando i desideri di ognuno. Realizzata con la formula unica di Technogel, materiale rinomato in campo medico, che garantisce la massima piacevolezza d’uso nelle applicazioni per l’arredo di case ed uffici.

More than a simple ‘art object’ Romeo is also a cat-shaped lamp offering a friendly addition to the home. Created using Technogel, a material widely used in the medical field, as well as in furniture for its pleasant cushioning properties.

Stereo offre la scelta di diverse combinazioni cromatiche, materiche e funzionali. La scocca in polipropilene, lucida nella parte posteriore e opaca nella parte anteriore, può essere imbottita e rivestita sia totalmente che parzialmente. Le basi 4 gambe e slitta sono in metallo cromato o verniciato in tinta con la scocca mentre le basi su razza e i braccioli sono in fusione d’alluminio.

Four-leg stackable or swivel chair. The Vad pays a tribute to the tradition of the Scandinavian masters. The body of the chair, durable and striking, is produced in recyclable reinforced polypropylene by means of injection moulding in a single block. Also available with swivel base, the Vad chair offers stackability and is suited indoor as well as outdoor spaces, making it a fit for both contract and domestic environments. Volumi ridotti e linee essenziali caratterizzano “LighTable” composto da un piano in melaminico o in laminato ed esili gambe in metallo verniciato. La gamba dalla forma ellittica si assottiglia verso il basso diventando un tubolare circolare e si congiunge all’estremità opposta in modo fluido. Una presenza “silenziosa” ridotta al minimo, che si integra con diversi stili d’arredo e si inserisce con semplicità anche al fianco di arredi dalla forte valenza espressiva. Un oggetto “neutrale” progettato con l’intento di ristabilire nell’arredamento il giusto equilibrio per un’ armonia compositiva.

Reduced volumes and minimal lines characterise the Lightable. The table consists of a work surface in melamine or laminate combined with slender coloured metal legs. A silent ‘presence’ that integrates perfectly with spaces of all types and styles. Subtle and understated, the Lightable’s rigorous simplicity allows it to coexist perfectly with more decisive and strident pieces. A neutral piece which adds a sense of composition and harmony to the spaces it furnishes.

Le nicchie ricavate nel pezzo fanno risaltare la massa di questo oggetto solido, monolitico, sempre attuale ed indifferente alle mode. Le infinite aggregazioni ed un’ampia gamma di colori, consentono inoltre di dar vita a sorprendenti paesaggi che arredano lo spazio in modo solare e dinamico.L’apparente semplicità della libreria Urban in realtà nasconde una grande sfida tecnologica: realizzare un elemento in materiale plastico, polietilene, dalle grandi superfici planari in stampaggio.

The ‘L’ shaped module measuring 140x 35cm can be used in any position. A system without hooks or joints which allows the user to create walls, screens, horizontal and vertical elements; angles, benches, entertainment systems – everything that comes to mind. The niches carved out of the piece underline the monolithic and solid nature of the Urban shelving unit. Si presenta come una ‘casetta’ accogliente per penne e matite, le quali si possono prendere attraverso un’apertura a forma di croce. Se capovolto, la sua forma diventa perfetta per contenere graffette o altri piccoli oggetti di cancelleria. Kup è stato disegnato pensando al fumatore che deve disfarsi della cenere. Può anche diventare porta graffette, portaelastici o portaspilli rendendo l’ambiente di lavoro elegante e ordinato. Entrambi gli oggetti possono essere aperti in senso orizzontale per essere puliti con facilità.

The Koop pen holder is a unique and functional addition to the desktop. It is a welcoming ‘ home’ for pens and pencils, which can be taken through a cross-shaped opening. If flipped over, Koop takes on a cavernous shape, ideal for holding paper clips and other small office objects. Kup’s design has been conceived to serve smokers’ needs for ash disposal. It can also become a paperclip or pin holder, making the work environment elegant and neat. Both objects can be opened horizontally to be easily cleaned.

2006 Il suo nome significa ‘cestino’, ma Korzina è utilissimo per nascondere tutti quegli oggetti inutili e invadenti che occupano il nostro spazio. Il portaombrelli Zontik mantiene l’ordine razionalizzando i contenuti. Dotato di sei appositi fori, raccoglie e trattiene l’acqua che gocciola dagli ombrelli mantenendo asciutto il pavimento. Korzina e Zontik sono realizzati in polietilene tinto in massa e ottenuti mediante stampaggio rotazionale. La parte esterna è disponibile in due finiture: verniciatura protettiva opaca o verniciatura lucida.

It takes its name from the Russian language, translating simply as ‘can’, but Korzina is much more: it satisfies our needs to dispense unwanted objects and materials. The Zontik umbrella stand keeps things well organized and shows them, as well. Zontik diligently collects and contains any water that may drip from wet umbrellas. Korzina and Zontik are produced in polyethylene and solution-dried by means of rotational moulding.

Capovolto diventa un allegro ed originale vaso/contenitore. Prodotto in polietilene tinto in massa è adatto all’utilizzo sia interno che esterno. “Ho sempre provato interesse per gli sgabelli piccoli. Comunemente considerati meno interessanti che le sedie come oggetto di studio dai designer, sono una categoria di sedute in generale trascurata. Il nome S.O.S deriva dal segnale di allarme utilizzato in ambito navale : il suo significato originale, infatti, è “Save Our Ship” (salvate la ns nave). Come una zattera, lo sgabello SOS è un’isola fluttuante di utilità che va oltre i parametri di quello che viene considerata comunemente una seduta temporanea.”

2000 Festival Ă¨ un sistema modulare studiato per contenere, stivare, archiviare e organizzare spazi interni e aperti. Arreda case, uffici, negozi, stands, comunitĂ (biblioteche, archivi, alberghi) etc. Un sistema completamente componibile grazie al quale Ă¨ possibile creare moduli a piacere sviluppandoli in larghezza, in altezza in profonditĂ . Gli elementi strutturali sono sovrapponibili tra loro per mezzo di un giunto realizzato in materiale plastico completando il sistema con una serie di pratici contenitori ed utili accessori.

Festival is a modular system created in order to contain, classify, file and organize internal and external spaces. Festival furnishes houses, offices, shops, stands, communities (libraries, archives, hotels) etc. A completely sectional modular system thanks to which any sort of module can be created of varying width, height and with three depths. The structural elements can be overlapped using a special plastic joint completed by a series of practical storage units and useful accessories.
