THIS IS WHAT
GREAT MINDS CAN DO.
ACADEMIC EXCELLENCE
WE’RE ON THE RISE. AND WE’RE
NOT STOPPING. Our vision to be recognized as one of the nation’s best colleges is being realized in the accomplishments of our faculty and the prestigious awards they receive. In fact, research grants have skyrocketed 75 percent in the last five years. Every day, we work to live up to our own high standards—and the world is taking notice.

ACADEMIC GROWTH
TOGETHER, WE’RE BUILDING A HEALTHIER FUTURE.
GROWING
STRONGER. We will always look for ways to expand our academic programs if it means we can better meet the needs of our students, the job market and society. This was our vision when we decided to create our two newest schools.
STRENGTHENING OUR CONNECTIONS AND ACCELERATING GROWTH. With our new College of Communication and the Arts, we’re providing our students with a distinct advantage by offering innovative interdisciplinary programs that embrace today’s digital culture and personalized mentorship through our Artist-in-Residence program. In addition, we place our students in valuable internships with more than 180 top organizations in the media and cultural powerhouse that is New York City.
Our partnership with Hackensack University Health Network will position us to be one of only six Catholic universities in the nation with a School of Medicine as well as the only private medical school in New Jersey. This is our opportunity to educate a new generation of healthcare practitioners with a dedication to service in an industry that desperately needs them. We are also creating a new national model for healthcare education. By moving the College of Nursing and School of Health and Medical Sciences to a new Health and Medical Sciences campus housing the medical school, we will equip our students to function as members of collaborative healthcare teams. This model reflects the future of health care, and as the preeminent center for Catholic health sciences education we will attract the best students from around the globe.
STUDENT SUCCESS AND SCHOLARSHIP
RAISING
THE BAR. We always prepare students to lead with character and compassion. To launch meaningful careers that contribute to a world we all want to live in. What we offer—an educational experience for the whole individual—continues to attract the best and brightest, demonstrated by a nearly 100-point increase in the average SAT score of our rst-year students since 2009. During this growth, we’ve continued to stay true to our mission of being a “University of Opportunity” by enrolling approximately 30 percent low-income, Pell-eligible students from all over the country.

CATHOLIC MISSION/COMMUNITY ENGAGEMENT
CATHOLIC AT OUR CORE. PIRATES AT HEART. Our Catholic mission is the foundation upon which our education is built. This rigorous educational model allows our students to grow and embrace their role as servant leaders in their volunteer work, internships and academic studies.
FAITH IN ACTION ▪ Founded the Department of Catholic Studies in 2012 to provide students with a deeper academic exploration in theology and faith. ▪ Recently launched the Archbishop John J. Myers Annual Lecture Series, which brings top religious experts to campus. ▪ With 43 priests living on campus, Seton Hall has one of the highest numbers of clergy in residence of all Catholic universities in the nation.

We are a relationship-centered institution. Our strength comes from our close connections with our nearly 100,000 alumni around the globe, our philanthropic supporters and the parents of our amazing students. We have worked strategically to offer a wide array of opportunities for these groups to take an active role in the life and progress of the University through improved communications, enhanced events and volunteer opportunities, and more meaningful ways to provide philanthropic support.
