Faith is the Heartbeat of SEU

We intentionally prioritize spiritual formation throughout every aspect of life on campus. That’s because we know spiritual development isn’t for the few…it’s for everyone.

Taking the step from taught faith to owned faith is truly a turning point. In your time here, you’ll be surrounded by people who come alongside you as you discover the biblical “whys” of what you believe. As you delve deeper into this knowledge, you’ll also find opportunities to serve others and to discover the many ways you can be a disciple of Jesus in everything you do.

Your walk with God is a lifelong journey, and it’s the most important component of your story. That’s why helping you strengthen your faith isn’t just what we do… it’s who we are.

While today’s world is ever-changing, God is constant. That’s why our teams spend time each year discovering the topics that are most relevant to students...such as those that bring the most questions or spiritual challenges...and bringing in experts who are fully versed in these topics. LEARNING FOR LIFE

Being a part of missions is an investment in the Kingdom, but also an investment in yourself. The skills you learn while planning, leading, and participating in missions will help you discover and develop the gifts the Lord has given you, and benefit you no matter your degree field or future career.

“We love being part of God’s story around the world. There’s an activation that happens in students’ lives in the mission field...we begin to see how we can use our gifts to help build the Kingdom of God.”

— JULIE NASH, ‘20, COMMUNICATIONS + SEU MISSIONS GRADUATE ASSISTANT
