Every other Saturday morning during summer months, the Seward Farmers Market features Alaska-grown produce, wild-foraged ingredients, handmade baked goods, small batch brews, as well as crafts and wares from local artisans and makers.

First Fridays , organized by the Seward Arts Council (p. 79), celebrates the work of local artists at galleries, restaurants, cafes, and other local businesses. Typically held from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., the first Friday of the month, May through September.
