We are pleased to release the fifth edition of the SEWE Art Book, a carefully curated book representing some of the nation’s most talented wildlife painters and sculptors. The Art Book has gained momentum since first released in 2017 and each edition is a beautiful collaboration between the artist and what has become the premier wildlife art show in the Southeast.

For nearly four decades, we have celebrated the beauty of the natural world through art and conservation. Every year, we recognize one accomplished artist, who creates the highly anticipated Featured Painting. SEWE is delighted to name Mark Horton as the 2021 Featured Artist. Horton paints beyond a literal interpretation of a scene to portray nature in a way that reflects his own ideas and sensibilities while capturing the grandiose beauty of billowing clouds over marshes, the elegance of an egret in flight or the effect of late light on a working oysterman. All to express the heart and lifeblood of the Lowcountry. Within these pages, Horton is joined by fellow wildlife and nature artists Brett James Smith, John Banovich, Stefan Savides, Lindsay Scott, Walter Matia and Julie Jeppsen…to name a few.

Explore the 2021 SEWE Art Book to find a new piece of art and receive the first chance to purchase new work by SEWE artists. We look forward to helping you curate your collection.
