The Terriers hold a winning record against Colgate (2-1) and have struggled the most against Army (0-9). St. Francis has yet to play Holy Cross and Lehigh. LAUS A SISTER ACT IN BROOKLYN HEIGHTS Sophomore Autumn and Amber Lau were recently the subject of the York Daily Record’s Bill Arsenault piece, tled “Lau’s S ll A Sister Act.” In the ar cle, both sisters described what it is like to play in Brooklyn Heights for the Terriers and Head Coach Brenda Milano and their experience in their second season. NINE-FOLD The Terriers are currently riding a nine (9) game losing streaking, da ng back to last season. St. Francis last victory came back on February 13 when they defeated the Sacred Heart Pioneers 64-63. That victory ended a season high 16 game losing streak. SWAT TEAM IN FULL FORCE The Terriers rank among the league leaders in blocks through the first five games. St. Francis currently ranks third in the Northeast Conference with 23 rejec ons on the season, while freshman Kiley Grabbe stands second in the league with 10 blocks. THREE’S COMPANY Last season, Mt. Wolf Pennsylvania na ve Autumn Lau connected on 79 three pointers, good for first in the Northeast Conference. This season, she has hit nine three pointers on thirty-two a empts. If she con nues to average four a game, Lau will finish the season with 112 three’s, the most in St. Francis College women’s basketball history. Tiffany Hill ‘08 holds the record at 85, set during the 2007-08 season. DECEMBER TO REMEMBER Since Head Coach Brenda Milano took over in the 200304 season, St. Francis tends to play better in the month of December rather than in the opening month of November. The Terriers are a combined 5-32 in the month of November, with their best stretch coming in the 04-05 where they went 2-2. However, when the month of December rolls around, the Terriers play harder as they are a combined 13-33 with their best mark coming in 2006-07 season, where her squad finished 13-18 on the year DETHRONING THE CHAMP St. Francis has a knack for picking up crucial victories against defending Northeast Conference Champions. On February 9, 2009, the Terriers shocked Robert Morris on a last second free-throw giving them a 6160 victory. A year later, on February 13, 2010, St. Francis upended Sacred Heart 64-63. SHU’s Alisa Apo missed the game-winning running layup with a second remaining to give St. Francis the victory.

An honors program serves students of high achievement and a broad scholarship program supports those who are likely to perform well academically. An NCAA-Division I ins tu on, St. Francis College offers students the opportunity to play for any of 19 varsity men’s and women’s athletic teams, including its men’s basketball team, whose program is among the oldest in New York City. St. Francis would and her staff believe that they can vie for a Northeast enter the Northeast Conference Tournament as the eight Conference championship. seed, taking on the Long Island University Blackbirds, the tournaments top seed. The Terriers would pull out the upset, as it was the first me that the school has qualified for the semi-finals as well as being the only # 8 seed to upset the # 1 seed in Northeast Conference Tournament history. Despite having three starters on the injured list, the 200708 Terriers were resilient and made it back to Northeast Conference tournament. In 2009-10, Milano was able to achieve personal milestones in her coaching career. The Terriers ended a three-year drought in the Ba le of Brooklyn as they defeated Long Island University, giving Milano her 35th Northeast Conference victory. A month later, with a last second free-throw, St. Francis would stun 2008 Northeast Conference Champions, Robert Morris, giving Coach Milano her 50th career victory, the most wins by a St. Francis College women’s head coach. Milano gained her early coaching experience at Northeastern University as a graduate assistant and at Seton Hall University where she earned a master’s degree in sports management. Before coaching, Milano spent me at Integrated Sports Interna onal, sports marke ng firm where she put to work her B.S. in marke ng from Wagner College (1995). In 1998,
