omehow, one little project turned into a sell out for senior services. The Pride Center’s Boomer/Senior Health Expo — the brainchild of Senior Services Coordinator Bruce Williams and his team — is one of the biggest events the Center puts on every year. If you want to sponsor it, though, you’ll have to get in while you can. Last year, sponsorships sold out by June, even though the event was in October. “The [first] expo was instrumental in creating an awareness of the long-term care needs of our LGBT seniors,” Williams said. “Since then, the crowds have grown larger every year, and the number of our participating vendors has increased with each expo.” What started out as a way to bridge the knowledge gap between seniors and LGBT-friendly services offerings around town has now blossomed into one of the most sought-after events for both seniors and sponsors alike. Space is limited to 60 vendors, with sponsorship rates ranging from $500 to $6,000, depending on levels of participation. Williams said there is never a

shortage vendors. “The response from our participating individuals, businesses and organizations has been an overwhelmingly positive one,” Williams said. “Providers have literally lined up to reserve space.” Reserving sponsorship spots is on a firstcome, first-serve basis. If you want to get your spot, you have to pay in full when you request it. Otherwise, a paying sponsor can snatch up your spot. Williams said groups are actually “clamoring” for space. Typically, it’s right after one event ends that organizations plan for the next year. “In [the] days following each expo, a number of current participants immediately commit their organization to the next year’s event,” Williams said. “It is always unfortunate when someone doesn’t receive a spot. Last year, the event sold out by the end of June, and we had a lot of disappointed would-be participants. Those folks and many of our regulars have reserved their space for this year’s event, and that’s why we already have a waiting list for cancellations.” There are plenty of different types of MEMBER

Williams said the largest recurring sponsors come from Broward Health Imperial Point, Marrinson’s Senior Services, and AIDS Healthcare Foundation. If you come up short on becoming a sponsor, there’s still hope for you in the event resource directory. “[The] booklet includes information about all expo participants and includes the ads of support and from those marketing their goods and services,” Williams said. “We have found that our attendees generally keep their copies of the Resource Directory and refer to them whenever they are in need of goods and services throughout the year.”

This year’s date auction will benefit the organization’s first LGBT youth retreat for teens struggling with “coming out” to their families. Ten times a year, Deliver the Dream invites up to 15 families, all experiencing the same illness or crisis, to attend a weekend retreat free of charge. The retreat will also incorporate an HIV educational component and offer therapeutic discussions for both teens and parents. This retreat, along with nine other planned yearly retreats spanning various crises and medical conditions including autism, cancer, Down syndrome and epilepsy, combines traditional recreational activities with therapeutic activities, peerto-peer discussion groups and expressive arts and music activities. “Disclosing one’s sexual identity to parents and friends can be one of the most stressful experiences a gay individual is confronted with,” said Paul Withrow, executive director of Deliver the Dream in a statement. “With input from The Pride Center at Equality Park, our first-ever LGBTQ Youth Retreat will embrace teens and their families and foster inspiration and unity. Five LGBT Candidates Are Running for the Senate Two have a good shot at winning

n historic number of openly LGBT people are running for the U.S. Senate this year: five. Two of those candidates are running in elections that are seen as the most competitive this year: Arizona and Wisconsin. And that competition is both good and troubling for LGBT candidates. It’s troubling news for the best known of the four candidates—incumbent U.S. Senator Tammy Baldwin. She is facing fierce opposition spending from billionaire conservatives who apparently see an opportunity in the fact that Republican President Donald Trump won Wisconsin in 2016. The state had voted for the Democratic presidential candidate for the seven previous presidential contests, and the Senate seat Baldwin holds has been held by a Democrat since 1957. But a competitive race is good news for a second LGBT U.S. Senate candidate—U.S. Rep. Kyrsten Sinema. She’s a Democrat from Arizona who is hoping to win over a predominantly Republican state for an historically Republican seat. Arizona has voted for a Republican presidential candidate in nine out of the last ten elections. And the last time a Democrat won a U.S. Senate seat from Arizona was 1988. Sinema was polling ahead of the Republican incumbent Jeff Flake even before he announced he would not run for re-election. Two of the other LGBT U.S. Senate candidates this year are running for the same seat – a U.S. Senate seat for Delaware currently held by a pro-LGBT Democrat, Tom Carper. Carper’s challenger for the Democratic nomination, Kerri Harris, is

a lesbian military veteran and long-time community activist for people with low incomes. Carper’s aspiring Republican primary opponent is a gay businessman and former executive at Paypal, Gene Truono. The fifth LGBT U.S. Senate candidate, who announced her bid in January, is Chelsea Manning, best known for being convicted of leaking classified government documents to WikiLeaks. Manning seeks to win the Democratic nomination from incumbent Democratic Senator Benjamin Cardin. Republicans currently hold the majority of seats in the U.S. Senate, 51. Democrats, and independents who caucus with Democrats, hold 49. For Democrats to take over the Senate, they need a net gain of two seats.

The promising newcomer Kyrsten Sinema could have the best chance of capturing one new seat for Democrats. A moderate Democrat from Arizona, she was a longtime member of the state legislature who developed some popularity even before winning her first term in the U.S. House six years ago. She has a pull-yourself-up-by-thebootstraps life story. For three years during her childhood, she and her family lived in an abandoned gas station. But she worked hard, was valedictorian of her high school, earned both a doctorate in social work and a law degree, served in the state house and senate, and, in 2013, became the first openly bisexual candidate to be elected to Congress. Sinema’s political popularity is probably due in large part to her willingness to ignore party lines on issues critical to her constituents. The political analysis group fivethirtyeight.com says Rep. Sinema has voted “in line with” President Trump’s position 57.4 percent of the time. That compares with liberal Senator Baldwin’s 22.1 percent. Several other election analysis sites (the Cook Political Report, CNN, Real Clear Politics, and others) say Arizona—which currently has two Republican U.S. senators (Flake and ailing Senator John McCain)—is now a toss up. That’s good for Sinema. But recent ABC polling shows an even rosier picture: Sinema beating any of the three Republicans seeking the GOP nomination. While the other three fight it out until the

August 28 primary, Sinema has a growing and healthy campaign coffer and can rise above it all. She’s raised $6 million –more than twice the money raised by all three of the Republican candidates combined. But when the final stretch begins in September and the Arizona seat is on the line, Republicans and conservatives are likely to pour money into stopping Sinema.

The tough incumbent Republicans and conservatives are already pouring money into an effort to defeat incumbent Democratic Senator Tammy Baldwin in Wisconsin. The chairman of the Wisconsin Democratic Party says conservative Republicans are “coming after Tammy Baldwin like no other” U.S. senate candidate in this year’s elections. The Milwaukee Sentinel Journal says she’s facing a “tough re-election,” in large part because a “political network financed by billionaire industrialists Charles and David Koch has spent more than $5 million” to oppose her re-election. (Federal Elections Commission records through March 31 put the number at $3 million.) CNN and Politico say Baldwin’s seat is one of the 10 U. S. Senate seats most vulnerable to switching parties in November.

For almost a year, there has been big money being spent to push the state each way. Last July, a pro-Trump group directing messages to conservative blacks bought radio time for an ad that claims Baldwin’s pro-choice position “is a big reason why” one in three abortions in America are sought against “black babies” and threatens the birth of the “next Frederick Douglass or Rosa Parks or Martin Luther King.” Last October, the “Freedom Partners Chamber of Commerce,” a tax-exempt group headed by the right-wing Koch Industries, vowed to spend $1.6 million in television and digital ads against Baldwin, a first-term Democrat and the first openly LGBT person elected to the U.S. Senate. The group said Baldwin supports higher taxes and “a broken system rigged against ordinary Americans.” Ironically, the ads voice allegations that Baldwin votes to raise taxes to benefit “well-connected special interests.” The Capital Times of Madison noted last month that Baldwin’s “favorability” rating has dropped from 40 percent to 37 percent since last year. Lesbian-Themed Film Causes Uproar In Orthodox Jewish Community

A movie involving an Orthodox Jewish lesbian relationship is creating some controversy upon its release. “Disobedience,” which stars Rachel Weisz and Rachel McAdams, was criticized for the lack of Orthodox people involved with the film, according to The Advocate. Members of the Orthodox community also questioned the portrayal of some religious sects in the movie. “The producers calling it Orthodox,

instead of ultra-Orthodox, is part of the erasure I and a lot of other people will inevitably feel, that this Jewish film narrative don’t represent us,” Orthodox Jew Chana N. said to The Advocate. Another criticism was that Orthodox women were portrayed as too oppressed, according to The Advocate. No major criticisms were raised about the film’s depiction of homophobia within the community.

A Georgia judge and former Republican representative has come out as bisexual. Mike Jacobs posted a photo on Twitter earlier this month at the Stonewall Bar Association spring mixer, an event for LGBT law professionals, according to Gay Star News. While this did not confirm Jacobs’ sexuality, a statement to Project Q Atlanta made it more clear.

“DeKalb County has never had a trial judge who openly identifies as LGBTQ,” he said. “This is something I can change simply by sharing this part of who I am with the public.” Jacobs said he and his wife Evan Jacobs wanted to set an example for their three children by being open about this part of their lives.

New Hampshire Legislature Passes Transgender Protection Bill

A bill passed in New Hampshire’s legislative body will provide protections for transgender people against discrimination. Members of the state Senate and House of Representatives agreed to send the bipartisan legislation on to Governor Chris Sununu, according to Vox. Sununu said previously he would sign the bill into law if sent to his desk. The law would extend protection against discrimination in housing, employment and places that serve the

public, such as hotels. “In a national landscape where transgender people are too often attacked for who they are, New Hampshire is a shining example for other states across the country,” campaign manager for Freedom New Hampshire Linds Jakows said in a statement. “We look forward to the day Gov. Pride Fort Lauderdale to Award 1 scholarship and 15 Grants Applications due May 25

he board of Pride Fort Lauderdale is now accepting applications for community grants for local charitable organizations and a new scholarship for an LGBTQ student. The grants and scholarship are funded from proceeds from the annual Pride Fort Lauderdale festival and first South Florida Trans Pride held on Feb. 11 at Fort Lauderdale Beach. Pride Fort Lauderdale will award up to ten (10) $1,000 grants to 501(c)3 charitable organizations that serve the local LGBTQ community and up to five (5) $1,000 South Florida Trans Pride grants to 501(c)3 organizations that specifically serve the local transgender community. Grants may be used for a special project or to advance the organization’s mission by funding operations. This year, the board also established a $2,500 scholarship for a deserving LGBTQ student. Applicants must either be enrolled

or plan to enroll at an accredited professional school, college or university and the scholarship may be used for tuition, books or other related expenses. Applicants are asked to complete a short online application and provide two academic or personal references. “We are very pleased to have this opportunity to give back to our community,” said Pride Fort Lauderdale president Miik Martorell. “A record 50,000 people came together as a community to celebrate the Love Pride on Valentine’s Weekend and the scholarship and grants will help develop future leaders and strengthen our community throughout the year.”

Children Do Not Regularly Use the Pride Center Playground Clarence Collins is a ‘good-natured soul’ who is ‘benign’

Dear SFGN Editor: In your news articles about The Pride Center, you make the assertion more than once that children regularly use the playground there. This is factually inaccurate. The reality is that children very rarely (if ever) use that playground. And any parent of a young child who would permit their child to use that small, non-fenced playground (which is located with a parking lot on two sides) without adult supervision would be negligent. Everyone who uses The Pride Center regularly knows that the playground is not much more than a public relations stunt. The law is what it is, and Clarence was responsible for obeying the law regarding his proximity to a playground. But to be very clear, since the playground is rarely used, and since children should never be there unsupervised, no child was ever endangered by Clarence’s employment in that regard. Furthermore, Clarence’s main “failure” was that he never said “No!” Need someone to clean-up after an evening event? Ask Clarence! Need someone to set-up for a morning event? Ask Clarence! Need to use the coffee-makers? Ask Clarence! Need someone at the front desk? Ask Clarence! Need to use the video equipment? Ask Clarence! Mr. Alalouf criticized Clarence for fixing the sound equipment (as requested) during an event when children were present. Does anyone

think for one moment that any child was “endangered” because Clarence entered a room filled with parents and their children? Clarence worked a great many hours “off the clock.” And in order to be available at The Pride Center at any hour during the day and evening, he moved into a small room with a shared bath which was nearby and for which he paid $900/month. This also represented a violation of Clarence’s sex-offender registration because of its proximity to a day care facility. It seems that everyone assumes that Clarence Collins is an evil man because of a horrible crime committed 25 years ago. Those of us who know Clarence know that he is now a good-natured soul with mild cognitive impairment who is basically benign. He certainly rehabilitated himself through 15 years of unselfish service at The Pride Center. I am not suggesting that Clarence should not be required to follow the law regarding sex offenders. But I am stating categorically that no child was ever endangered because of Clarence’s employment because he never had the occasion or the opportunity to be alone with any child for any reason. I hope that you will publish these facts which are certainly relevant to an accurate understanding of The Pride Center controversy.

Jeffrey Dahmer Once Lived in South Florida The serial killer and cannibal killed 17 men and boys Graham Brunk

effrey Dahmer, the cannibalistic serial killer, once lived in South Florida. With the recent release of the movie “My Friend Dahmer,” I thought it a good time to remind people that Dahmer lived in South Florida for a short while in 1981 after a stint in the military. The movie is based on the true biographical graphic novel by Derf Backderf (who coincidentally got his career start as a cartoonist for the Palm Beach Post in the 1980s). Unbeknownst to anyone at the time Dahmer had already killed hitchhiker Steven Hicks a few years earlier, but none of that was learned until after his notorious 1991 arrest when police raided his Milwaukee apartment and found evidence of cannibalism, body parts stashed all over the apartment— some in jars of acid, and others frozen. Most of Dahmer’s crimes took place outside of Florida, but there has been speculation he killed people while he lived down here. We know so much about his time here in part because several writers have attempted to connect Dahmer to the kidnapping and murder of Adam Walsh, which took place that summer of 1981. For 6 months that year Dahmer had been living just a few miles away in Sunny Isles Beach. Shortly after graduating high school with no real plan of action for what to do with his life and at the urgency of his father, Dahmer entered the U.S. Military. In spring of 1981 Dahmer was discharged primarily for alcohol abuse. Because military officials did not feel Dahmer’s issues in the military would directly affect others outside of the military, his discharge was deemed “honorable.” Offered a one-way ticket by the government to anywhere in the country free charge, Dahmer, not able to face his father and sick of the cold weather, chose Miami. Miami was probably far from what Dahmer had pictured. At the time Miami Beach was mostly run down and full of low income retirement homes. With no money he made a home for himself among many other drifters along Sunny Isle. One day Ken Haupert, the manager of Sunshine Subs in the strip mall at NE 170th St. and Collins Ave. noticed Dahmer digging through the dumpster behind his business. Haupert invited him in for something to eat and learned of Dahmer’s recent discharge from the military. He offered Dahmer a job and even put him up in a room at the nearby Bimini Motel. Haupert had difficulty with Dahmer as an employee, he often came to work looking very disheveled and sometimes even drunk. Often Haupert would just send him home and try again the next day. Perhaps the most startling thing to happen during Dahmer’s employment was the time Dahmer had approached Haupert to inform him of a dead body behind the sub shop that Dahmer

claims he had been stepping over all morning when unloading trash into the dumpster. Miami-Dade Police records show that Dahmer did indeed report finding a dead body on July 7, 1981. This was just a few weeks before the infamous kidnapping of Adam Walsh, son of America’s Most Wanted host, John Walsh. Adam was kidnapped from the Hollywood Mall on July 27, which was only a few miles away from where Dahmer was living. A few years ago Hollywood Police closed the case and pinned it on Jacksonville serial killer Otis Toole, who had already died in prison in 1996. But was Toole really guilty? True crime writer and former reporter for the “Hollywood Sun Tattler” newspaper Arthur Jay Harris has set out to trace Dahmer’s time in South Florida and has written several books on the topic. He is the reason we know so much about what Dahmer did here. Harris is convinced Dahmer may have been responsible for this crime. Many witnesses reported Adam was kidnapped by someone in a blue van. Sunshine Subs owned a blue van that employees regularly had access to that disappeared for days on end often. Did Dahmer have access to this van? Could he have used it to kidnap Adam Walsh? Harris did present some interesting observations. Exactly two weeks before Walsh was kidnapped, a young boy named Terry Keaton was playing in a similar Atari display in the Sears at the Twin City Mall in North Palm Beach. A man attempted to grab him and Keaton got away but not without making quite a ruckus in the store. The attempted kidnapper also got away but several people got a good look at him, enough so that North Palm Beach police were able to publish a police sketch which resembled what Dahmer would have looked like at the time. Harris along with Willis Morgan, a witness who claims to have seen Dahmer at the Hollywood Mall that day, looked into more about the man Dahmer found behind the sub shop. They located an abandoned meter room next to the dumpster where the body was found. Relatively untouched since 1981 there was an aged axe leaning against the wall and what looked like blood splatter. The discovery was so intriguing, ABC’s Primetime even did an investigation with luminal which did indeed prove there was blood on the wall. Is this perhaps where Adam Walsh was killed? Again, we may never know. But it is indeed an interesting coincidence.

Dahmer was asked about the Walsh case in 1991 after his arrest. He denied having had anything to do with it. Hollywood police eventually dismissed him a suspect since it did not fit his typical “M.O.” Though in reality it would be hard to tell if Dahmer was responsible for more killings than he admitted to. It is known that he very much did not want to be subject to the death penalty, which did not exist in Wisconsin, but did exist in Florida. Harris believes Toole was spoon-fed information by police and often got a lot of information wrong before he got it right concerning the Walsh case. And, since by the time police closed the case in 2008 Toole had already died, it seemed easy to pin it on him. As for Dahmer, unable to make something of himself in South Florida, his father wired him money to return home by the end of the summer of 1981. The rest of Dahmer’s story is history. If you’d like to read more about Jeffrey Dahmer’s time in Florida and his possible involvement in Adam Walsh’s murder, check out Arthur Jay Harris’ “Jeffrey Dahmer’s Dirty Secret” or Willis Morgan’s “Frustrated Witness.” Both offer great insight on the case and what South Florida was like at the time. According to the National Missing and Unidentified Persons System (NamUs) there are currently 6 unidentified bodies that were found in Broward and Dade counties from the summer of 1981. We don’t know who the victims were or what happened to them. Could these be additional Dahmer victims? At least 4 of them fit Dahmer’s primary interest of young men.

esbian owned Wolfe Video offers this crime thriller which offers a better sub-plot than its main story. Melanie Brockmann Gaffney stars as Viola, a Boston detective still mourning the loss of her wife two years earlier. She and her partner EJ (Sarah Hollis) are trying to find and save the life of Darlene (Aly Trasher), who’s been kidnapped after stumbling onto a murder plot involving a play called The Russian Doll which is currently in production—the playwright/star (Peter S. Adams) has lived off the play for decades. Only he’s not the playwright—he stole The Russian Doll from its true author, driving the author to commit suicide. Now, many years later, the real playwright’s daughter and her boyfriend are plotting to kill the thief. Darlene is the daughter’s roommate who needs to be kept silent. There are several disturbing sequences in which Darlene is tortured for trying to escape from her captors. Russian Doll is an OK thriller, though far from a great one. Far more interesting to LGBT viewers is the sub-plot involving Viola’s attempts to move on from the memory of her late wife and to start dating again. Sparks fly when Viola’s Mom introduces her to the beautiful Faith (Marem Hassler). The attraction between the two women is obvious, but Viola finds herself unable to let go of her wife’s ghost. She still lives in the house they shared and, two years later, has yet to remove her wedding ring. Viola soon

has an erotic dream involving herself and Faith which suggests that she might finally be weakening. The film randomly moves back and forth between the two storylines, each of which has nothing to do with the other. Its almost as though Melanie Brockmann Gaffney is starring in two completely different, unconnected films. The Russian Doll story does offer a few nice twists, such as when it’s revealed that two of the characters are actually the playwright’s daughter and her boyfriend in disguise. And in the film’s most shocking sequence, the thief is shot to death live on stage in front of an audience. The acting is decent. Gaffney is convincing as a cop determined to crack her case. She’s even better as the grieving widow, struggling to come to grips with the memory of her wife and with her burgeoning feelings for the new woman in her life—Gaffney and Hassler have great chemistry as the fledgling couple. Trasher is superb as the kidnapping victim who’s determined to break free. No matter what her captors do, she fights back, giving them quite a run for their money. And Peter S. Adams is wonderfully creepy as the thieving playwright who ruined someone’s life and just doesn’t care. While no masterpiece, Russian Doll does have its moments. Wolfe’s disc includes the film’s theatrical trailer, as well as an English subtitles option.

Local Comedian to Film Web Sitcom, ‘A Dream Come True’ J.W. Arnold

omic Peter Bisuito has always dreamed of starring in his own television sitcom. The South Florida transplant made a splash on the standup scene as My Big Funny Peter, “the world’s only gay muscle bear comedian,” and quickly gained an international following, selling out performances in the Netherlands, United Kingdom and Canada. Finally, Bisuito’s wish is coming true. He pulled together a local dream team with a long list of industry credits, including Tony Awardwinning director Michael Bush, writer Michael Aman, costume designer Peter Lovello and composer Matthew Doers, and filming of the pilot episode of his internet television series “Vent and Chester,” is scheduled to begin next week. SFGN sat down with the 48-year-old funnyman to discuss the project: How did “Vent and Chester” come together? This project is 35 years in the making. Since I was a teenager, my biggest dream was to one day be the star of my own sitcom. Unfortunately, my life didn’t take me in the direction of show business until six years ago, at the age of 42, when I decided to give up my entire life to pursue my true passion of entertainment. I quit my job, gave up my income entirely, put myself on food stamps and Medicaid. My husband and I even sold our house and one of our cars for me to fulfill my pipe dream. I knew two things: Number one, I was definitely talented enough to be the next sitcom star. Number two, I was too old to start. Realistically speaking, Hollywood would never consider a new 40-something-year-old for anything because the competition is too great. Fortunately, in this day and age, you don’t need Hollywood to make you famous anymore, so I’m sort of taking matters into my own hands

and creating a project that will go viral on the internet to fulfill my own dream. Did you write the screenplay? I created the show, the characters and the plot. However, I have the most amazing team of entertainment professionals working on this project…The actor playing opposite me is Harry Redlich, who’s acted in feature films and national commercials. We had a list of over a dozen people auditioning for the role of Chester. Harry was the first audition and it was clear that we needn’t look any further. He embodied the role and brilliantly portrayed the character. What inspired your story? There have been so many dynamic duos in television history—Lucy and Desi, Will and Grace, Cheech and Chong—the list goes on and on. So, I knew I wanted two characters and I wanted them (to be) completely different. I also wanted the characters to be middle-aged, not just because I’m middle-aged, but because it seems as though show business is so (youth) oriented. I wanted to create a show that caters to people 40 and older, but still enjoyable for the young people. That’s when I came up with “Vent and Chester.” Two middle-age gay men, both very different, but with similar problems and issues. What is your production schedule like and how will the show be distributed? We are filming our pilot episode the week of May 14. We are writing an additional five episodes this summer and hope to film them all in October with a series premiere around Thanksgiving. Right now, it’s going to be a web series on YouTube. Our goal is to make it go viral so we can pitch it to larger networks such as Netflix, Hulu, YouTube Red, etc.

Porn King Labels MSNBC Host ‘Homophobe’ Hunter Houston

In an interview with Breitbart News, Lucas called Reid a “homophobe” and said the cable television network was letting Reid “weasel her way out.” It was revealed Reid used gay in a derogatory way to criticize actor Tom Cruise, political consultant Karl Rove and Supreme Court Justice John Roberts. She also referred to Florida Congressman Charlie Crist as “Miss Charlie” and called conservative author Ann Coulter a “dude.” Another blog post took issue with gay men kissing. “Most straight people cringe at the sight of two men kissing,” Reid wrote.

“The nature of political correctness is that gay people are allowed to say straight sex is gross but the reverse is considered to be patently homophobic.” When some of these comments came to light in December she immediately apologized. But Reid, 49, a former South Florida talk radio host, later said her blog may have also been hacked. She has since walked those claims. “I genuinely believe I did not write those hateful things because they are completely alien to me. But I can definitely understand based on things I have tweeted and have written in the past why some people don’t believe me,” she recently said during her show. “I cannot take any of that back. I can only say that the person I am now

is not the person I was then. I like to think that I’ve gotten better over time, that I’m still growing.” Many in the LGBT community have rushed to her defense, but not Lucas. “It would be insane to fall for Joy Reid’s claim that she was hacked,” Lucas told Breitbart’s Jerusalem bureau. “Not only did MSNBC not fire her, they didn’t even condemn her views. They are allowing her to try to weasel her way out of this situation using ridiculous lies.” Lucas, 45, owns one of the world’s largest gay porn studios, New York based Lucas Entertainment. He has directed and starred in many of his films in Israel and is a staunch advocate of the HIV prevention method PrEP.
