In honor of National Cancer Prevention month, the Santa Fe New Mexican has provided a comprehensive Cancer Awareness, Resource and Education guide in today’s issue. Many in our local community have experienced cancer themselves, some may know about being a caregiver, others may closely know someone witth the disease or miighht justt be aware off the universal efforts towards the cause. C.AA.RR.EE. hopes to educate the curious,, comfort those in the fight, and cellebrate others. It hopes to make a caregiver feell understood and provide guidance to a supportive friend. The truth is cancer never affffffectts justt one personn. Although there is no right or wrong way to deaal with such a diagnosis, it is important to acknowledge that thhere arre resources and support available.
