SF Symphony Music Education Programs Partnership Opportunities
Created in partnership with the San Francisco Unified School District, the SF Symphony’s nationally recognized music education programs serve more than 75,000 students each year, many of whom are considered to be from low to moderate income households.
Adventures in Music
Founded in collaboration with the SFUSD in 1988, Adventures in Music—the Symphony’s signature music education program—provides free and interdisciplinary music education for every student in San Francisco's public schools, grades 1–5, many of whom are considered to be from low to moderate income households. AIM's curriculum is designed by the Symphony’s Education Department and integrates music-related learning experiences with Common Core subjects and live performance.
Concerts for Kids
(CFK)
Concerts for Kids provides a live orchestral experience by the San Francisco Symphony and study materials for more than 12,500 students, grades K–5 from 20 counties in Northern California. For many students, CFK provides the first opportunity to experience world-class music on an international stage. CFK concerts engage the imagination and reinforce curricular concepts. Tickets, which are heavily subsidized, are only $8.

Music and Mentors provides free music coaching and mentorship, instrument repairs, resources, and concert tickets to more than 1,200 students in 21 SFUSD bands and orchestras, grades 6–12.
SF Symphony Youth Orchestra

The San Francisco Symphony Youth Orchestra provides talented instrumentalists ages 12–21 with tuition-free, pre-professional training. The YO presents reduced price concerts at Davies Symphony Hall, free open rehearsals for San Francisco senior centers, and tours internationally.
