‘The Thwarting of Baron Bollingrew’ by Robert Bolt November 26-December 12 Sir Oblong Fitz Oblong, a highly unlikely knight-errant, is sent by his duke to fight the dragon with red eyes which lives on the Bolligrew Island — ruled over by the bold, bad Baron Bolligrew and his henchman Squire Blackheart. After making friends with Magpie and Badger, and besting the magician Moloch in a display of magic, Oblong confronts the dragon and Bolligrew in a final showdown. This play by Robert Bolt has taken its place among the great children’s classics, whose hallmark it seems is that adults are no less enthusiastic than the children.

‘Nunsense’ by Dan Goggin February 4-20 “Nunsense” is a hilarious spoof about the misadventures of five nuns trying to manage a fundraiser. Due to an unfortunate accident in the kitchen of the Little Sisters of Hoboken convent, some 52 nuns have gone on to their reward; adding to the unpleasant event, the nunnery’s coffers lack the funds to pay for a decent burial for all the sisters, leaving four of them in cold storage. Thus, the remaining nuns stage a talent show in order to raise the money to bury their dearly departed. First staged in 1986, “Nunsense” became a sensation off-Broadway and became a wildly popular attraction on the road, spawning four spinoff shows to date.

414 N. Sequim Ave., Sequim Tickets are $15 and are available online at www.OlympicTheatreArts.org, or by calling the box office at 360-683-7326.

Hendrickson Road, from 10 a.m.-4 p.m. SaturdaySunday, February 26-27, 2011. At this show, in addition to the exhibit of sculptures by numerous artists, we also will present our “regatta”- sailing themed pieces, which will be shown in one grouping.
