Greetings! It is with great pleasure that I announce my candidacy for Western Region Undergraduate Chapter Coordinator of Sigma Gamma Rho Sorority, Inc. for the 2014 through 2016 sorority years! I am excited at the opportunities to serve an organization that is dear to my heart! Sigma Gamma Rho is faced with the occasion to capitalize on the cross roads that face Black Greek-letter organizations. Inspiring Women to Greater Service, Greater Progress is my commitment to the holistic growth and development of collegiate women. This can be accomplished with a regional team of graduate chapter advisors and basilei, as well as other graduate members committed to offering the best sorority experience Sigma Gamma Rho has to offer to our collegiate sorors.

Platform Inspiring Women to Greater Service, Greater Progress Goal #1: Support current membership goal of the WR Membership Committee by doubling membership and increasing the number of active chapters to 22.
Setting & executing recruitment goals on a scale from “attainable to ultimate” Reactivate chapters, Increase Active Chapters, Charter New Chapters Developing a system to equip, motivate, & reward undergraduates for sharing the opportunity of membership
Goal #2: Partner with the Epistoleus to improve marketing & branding by creating guidelines and identifying key campus-based events to increase visibility.
Encouraging undergraduates to participate and be visible at existing campus events Utilizing social media & streamlining online presence with website guidelines Establishing a clear trademark for Western Region Undergraduates
Goal #3: Increase undergraduate engagement through monthly training and development modules. Promoting cooperation with graduate chapters and advisors Incorporating study goals and academic workshops, & initiating scholarships Building student leaders with a keen focus on academic achievement
