Ryan M. Reynolds received an MFA from UC Berkeley in 2003, where he studied with prominent Bay Area ar tists, Squeak Carnwath, Richard Shaw, and Christopher Brown. For two years Ryan painted en plein air alongside Bay Area ar tist, Terr y St John. Reynolds has had solo exhibitions in Europe, New York, and California and was recently selected for the de Young Museum Open.

His work is held in the permanent collections of the Bakersfield Museum of Ar t, St. Mar y ’ s College Museum of Ar t and the Ballinglen Museum of Ar t, Ireland, where he holds a fellowship. Ryan is currently a Professor of Studio Ar t at Santa Clara University where he has taught since 2005 and resides in San Jose, California with his wife and two children.
