This design encompasses the idea of the home as an organism. Every organism has a mind, body, and soul that ideally work together to create harmony and peace. The design utilizes these three elements as zones to promote internal balance. Every element of this home was designed to evalate desirable feelings and imaginative thoughts. When a hurricane hits, the family will thrive due to engaging features, safety measures, and the bond they share with each other. When a hurricane is not looming, the house will remain highly desirable and functional. Overall, the goal is to eliminate the fear and anxiety associated with storms.

In recent months, individuals around the world have felt the absence of community and connection while social distancing. As a result, isolation has taken a toll on many individual’s mental and physical wellbeing. While the pandemic will not last forever, it has brought to the surface the importance of interaction and collaboration. The Atlanta NEXT office embraces local diversity while creating paths to wellbeing through community, collaboration, and inclusivity. Through a muted color palette, repetitive motifs, and organic forms, the space feels soothing and familiar while encouraging social, emotional, and physical wellbeing. The minimalistic design provides a distraction free space to work, akin with the feeling of turning notificantion off. R E V I T | | E N S C A P E | | I L LU S T R ATO R

HOME OFFICE FA L L 2 0 2 0
A home office redesign for a single mother working from home during the pandemic. The client was passionate about her work and wanted a space that reflected that. This was achieved by creating a space that is bright, orgainized and oasis-like, providing some escape from the chaos within the house. Not only does the office provide optimal lighting and backdrop for video calls, it doubles as a yoga studio. R E V I T | | E N S C A P E | | P R O C R E AT E

This office design was an exercise in intentional space planning and sensitivity to detail. Equipt with custom built-ins for optimal storage, flexible seating options for increased functionality, as well as extra space for yoga. Details such as the board and batten, wood beams, and symmetrical arched shapes create a space that feels custom and high-end while staying within a low budget.

THE HORSE BARN SPRING 2020
This design revitalized the University of WisconsinMadison historic Horse Barn into a learning hub that invites people of all backgrounds and interests, fosters creativity, collaboration, and innovation, as well as helps to initiate change on both large and small scales. This was achieved by creating a space that is both welcoming and gives a breath of life into the neglected building. Incorperating modern elments and bright colors while highlighting the original elements of the building helped maintain the original character of the building while making it the core of the campus.
