The largest career fair on campus all Spring Semester. Take out your smart phone or your favorite notepad right this minute and schedule this date with destiny. Yes, before you hit the beach for Spring Break, make a date with yourself to attend UA Spring Career Days. Connect with employers at over 180 tables over the course of this two-day event. You’ll find a diverse group of recruiters representing everything from Public Service, Government, Healthcare, Agriculture and Corporate organizations looking for future interns and full-time employees. Some of the companies attending this fair have never visited this campus before. Check online at www.career.arizona.edu to determine what companies are coming and when. There will be some overlap, but each day different companies attend and different opportunities are available. The list of participants is as long as it is varied. Just a small sampling of organizations attending this Spring fair include: Abercrombie & Fitch, Apple, B/E Aerospace, Convergys, COPE Community Services, DFV Wines, Dun & Bradstreet, Honeywell, IBM, Insight Global, KMSB Fox 11, Macy’s, Maxim Healthcare, Microsoft, NASA, Pacific Sunwear, PepsiCo, Salt River Project, Trader Joe’s and Yelp. Brand new companies coming to campus for the first time ever include: Apollo Group, Celtic Commercial Finance, Clayton Homes, Command Transportation, HTG Molecular Diagnostics, Inc., My Own TM, NetSuite, Regal Wine Co., the Smithsonian Institution, The Doe Run Company and Thorlabs. Announcements ASUA Criminal Justice Club announces their March meeting: Thursday, 3/7/13 @ 5:30 is SS 311 Special presentation by The U.S. Marshals Service http://sgpp.arizona.edu/content/criminal-justice-association Are you interested in learning more about law school and the practice of law? Come mingle with some of Tucson's best attorneys THIS THURSDAY March 7th, at 12 PM in Law School Room 118. (map) Pizza and soda will be provided! Participating attorneys will be from top firms in town: Anna Ceder is on the litigation counsel for State Farm. Mo Goldman is from Goldman & Goldman - considered to be the go-to people for immigration. He was recently on NPR, and was the president of the American Immigration Lawyers Association (AILA). Matt Schmidt works at Kinerk, Schmidt & Sethi. A high-end boutique PI firm specializing in med mal, insurance bad faith, wrongful death and elder care. We will also have an attorney who practices criminal law. We just don't have his bio yet! Undergrads: come learn about different paths you can take, after law school graduation

Potential Candidate for Governor Visits the UA: Fred Duval, the former President of the Arizona Board of Regents, who is expected to declare his candidacy for the 2014 Arizona Governor's Race soon, will be visiting the University of Arizona Young Democrats Club. Their meeting, at which he will be the guest speaker, will be Thursday, March 7th, at 6:30 PM in Social Sciences Room 114. Membership in the club or the Democratic Party are not required to attend the event. Incomplete applications will not be considered. Complete application can be found at here Award Amount: Amount varies for the 2013-2014 academic year Eligibility for Consideration: (Please check all that apply)  I am a female Arizona resident.  I will be a UA graduate or undergraduate sophomore, junior or senior in the 2013-2014 academic year.  I have a minimum cumulative grade point average of 3.50 or greater.  I will be enrolled in the minimum number of units to be considered a full time student, per University requirements.  I’ve completed a 2013 Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA).
