Overview : The site is located near many natural and touristic sites in Lattakia , with a maximum area of 200 hictars , surrounded by two mountains with valley in between and the sea from the west side .

Architecture Approach : The project was designed to deliver a connection between Human and Nature , emphasizing on different aspects such as • Using natural materials that are available in the site • Clarity in urban spaces and design lines that are inspired from the nature . • State-of-the-art sustainable technology to reduce the energy needed to the project and to maintain the livings around it .
Due to the existing topography (Touristic attractions : Mountain - River - Beach ) and climate constraints Three types of tourism were chosen for the existing nature: A- Entertainment tourism B- Natural Tourism C- Sports Tourism

1- First the mass was pulled to the volume needed for the proposed functions of the hotel building
2- the mass was divided and pushed into the mountain to get a better view of the sea and the landscape , and to be integral with the built-on mountain
3- the mass was shaped (stressed , skewed and pulled ) by the contour lines of the built-on mountain

Site was divided with the view and pedestrian axises that are passing through it . each resulted zone was extruded for the chosen function.
All of the masses were cut to create a back/ green yard. the restaurant masses were pulled up for a better view and the back edges pulled down to create the sloped green roof.
Lighthouse is in front of the main axis coming from the center of the project. The result accommodate the waterfront and serve a better view of the sea and the mountain.

Overview : The purpose of the project is to combine between preforming art such as Music , Dance , Theatre and Cinema all in one place at the center Of Damascus . The project aims to enhance the awareness and the importance of arts in our daily life , specially among kids and teenagers . The design was concentrating on the history of Arts and the building that it was used in the 19th century all over the world , using classical elements and big open spaces .

Overview : If it’s an emergency, every second is crucial. And so is the treatment given. The Emergency Center combines technology and unmatched medical expertise to provide advanced emergency care, with utmost efficiency. Capable of handling all emergencies and trained in disaster management, the emergency care team here is always on the alert mode, 24/7. And given the importance of Emergency Service in International Highways and Industrial Areas along the road , An emergency center designed on the highway between Damascus - Homs . Designed to create a comfortable and calming ambiance, the beds in the treatment area are well separated and curtained to protect the privacy of patients and their families. The emergency care unit also has a 24-hour Pharmacy to ensure availability of medicine at all times.

Overview : Given the importance of trains in the Syrian economic growth , which was damaged significantly because of the crisis , and to achieve a quick travelers service to move between the provinces and traveling abroad . Al Kadam Train station has been designed to fulfill this requests , located to south of the capital Damascus .

Overview : The project was developed as a part of construction studio at the faculty of architecture . The final result was mainly devoted to the detailed plans , sections , elevations and more over the static calculation . As the concept , the idea was to create a smart parking in down town Damascus , with a vertical transportation system for cars to park . The model shows two parts diagonal to each other , and the structure it self is mainly made from steel beams and columns .

Overview : The goal was to design a commercial and community center to serve a residential complex , and the public city . The project has a variety of functions such as Post Office , Clinic , Municipal Offices in one section and a Super Market , Shops , Cafe and Restaurant in the other section . As an architectural approach the aim of this project is develop a high level of clarity to the visitors in both sections , by open spaces and the patio .

Overview : After the tragic event happened on 23/3/2014 the Department of Architecture – Damascus University decided to give the students a chance to reveal their feelings by designing a memorial for the eleven students that passed away on that day . Location : In the Garden of the Faculty , the west side The zone is 150 square meters . The concept is inspired from a Bauhouse book “ Bauhouse Wiemer Dessau Berlin “ . Materials are ( Concrete , Wood , Steel ) .
