In my architecture portfolio, I showcase my unique approach to design, drawing inspiratio n from my personal experiences and cultural background. I believe that architecture should not only be aesthetically pleasing but also reflect the values and heritage of the community it serves. With a deep appreciation for my homeland and its local heritage, I strive to create designs that maintain the essence of these traditions while incorporating innovative and contemporary elements. By reworking and transforming these unique features, I aim to create spaces that not only stand out but also contribute to the cultural fabric of the environment. Through my portfolio, I hope to demonstrate my passion for preserving and celebrating cultural identity through architecture.

Typology: Trasnportation Hub
Year: 2022
Objectives: The project aims to develop an urban transportation hub to connect the developing CBD area of Phnom Penh. This connections allows the site to become a potential green space and mixed used space which is much needed in the city where it lacks public for people to gather around. It attepmts to to create mixed-used building which the main function is for the transportation with a combination of open space shopping mall with a park and recreational activities.
Learning outcomes: The approach and principles to designing the project were from the studies of what the main problems, challenges, and opportunities of the considered area. Students developed abilities of self-reflection, analytical observation and application of graphical and visual skills on a proper architectural design with the aim to create redoable presentation of a real architectural project starting from understanding the design brief, sketches, archiviz.
About the site: The project area is located on the Royal Railway Station, next to University of Health Sciences and the National University of Management which sits in the middle of a developing CBD area. The existing urban plot sits on the busy street of Russian Federation Blvd. The Urban tissue of this par t of townnis characterized by a highly organized grid of administation, commercial blocks and streets. The wide nature of the lot allow us to design a space that can response to its surrounding without being too loud and obstruction to the exisiting arragement.
About the design: The design of the new transportation in is to blend in with the green space inside while maintain unique canopy design and the open floor plan. It consists of shopping center, transportation hub, and recreational area. This approach not only allow a wide of open park that is hidden from the buzzling streets, but also to have different facade performaces while moving along the street.
