THE SCHOOL OF ART The idea of the project is to architecturally implement the art of graffiti and the idea of telling the truth among the lie. The idea of the graffiti is taken as the connection of the building toward surrounding context where Melbourne is also known as the stencil capital of the world. The idea of telling the truth among the lie is to create different appearance toward the surrounding architecture. Thus makes the building stand out.

CHARACTER The basic and rigid shape of the site is separated into little segments and scaled into different size according to the programs of the building. This segment is then re-arranged following the pattern of the graffiti that is analyzed. The arrangement gives an advantages toward the view of the surrounding context. This is important to create a connection between the building physically and visually.
CONTRAST In this building, there is contradiction between interior and exterior space. The appearance of the building wall looks very thick. The wall is also inclined on the exterior. But when comes to the interior, almost all the walls are vertical. This create a different mood or feeling from inside and outside. Within this inclined walls and the vertical walls, there are several storage created to fully utilize the space.

The terminal and the sea bath are able to blend to each other without interupting the program of the building. the space are carefully located and the idea is success through the idea of levelling of space into zig zag form that would create a potential space for certain program.
