THE BORA PROJECT
RE-BRIEF TEAM GOAL Design a studio accommodation within the Woodfordia precinct, catering to the physical and social needs of both permanent residents in a domestic setting, and visiting artists requiring a working space for the duration of their stay
PRIMARY USER BASE Current residents include elders and people of the Jinibara community. Cabin to accomodate these residents with a spiritual connection to the land. Open plan structure adopted and into the surrounding environment.Acknowledgeing existing cultural connections as well as enabling evolution with future users over time.
SECONDARY USER BASE The principle focus of this project is to provide a suitable space for visiting artists during residencies, culminating in a public display of work. Cabin is to include working space for various artists consisting of both private and public areas

CONCEPT THE BORA PROJECT To design a precinct the includes the immidiate needs to the current resident community of Woodfordia which includes the Jinibara people.The design aims to creata a venue of multiple structures of varying activities that reflects the complexity of Woodfordia.
