AASHIYANA - LIVE & WORK HOUSING

FROM UTOPIAS TO HETEROTOPIAS : MIGRANT HOUSING Guided by: Imran Mansuri The program was to explore the live-work housing ensemble in response to the adjacent traditional urban fabric where migrant communities associate with the live-work habitat. The design focuses on the people who live and work together in the same environment. It focuses on providing these people with more semi open and open spaces which would help them to live and work better. It also helps the people to modify the units and spaces according to their needs which would allow more activities and interaction within people and hence create a better living environment for them.
