Unknown Perfection
Looking into English Eccentric garments, I was drawn to the “Cape”, how it’s made, and history behind it and try to remake the idea of the “Cape “in a modern contemporary design. Keeping in mind my client Grace and Mabel and their customer profile. My women are strong, confident and like to stand in the crowed. As designing for Autumn/winter collection chooses thick wool and scuba, the silhouette is boxy and geometric shape. The things that are not perfect inspire this trend, but in the eye of the beholder it can optimize perfection. Strong dark colors are personified in the color palette like ruby red, charcoal black, ash, silver, sky blue and mustard yellow. Fabrics are leather, wool, and laser cut fabric
