Print media is still the prime news source in India. Along with an English newspaper everyone here reads a vernacular newspaper too. They watch TV, browse news online and iPad, listens to radio and mobile.. So there can’t be a compromise on content & design!
India is place where we celebrate
‘colours’ for every festival. And we love it.
Typography
stands tall on every communication. Legible and readable is the only demand. But if you can add bit of stye to it, nothing like that!
Beauty
is not just a feeling of the beholder. There is a reason for it. And if you put things in symmetry, everything comes in order. Human eyes enjoys it!
Always keep the
content traffic
on a move. You feel relaxed then. Let there be red lights. You have to hold your consumers in good humour too.
Every display should have a reason.
Patchworks
eventually shows up. So never attempt that. Let it be simple. That means no more decorations!
Use of the
white space
is very important. But you have to be very careful. There should be an explainable harmony even there.
Always try to avoid
cluttering
the content. Human brain has a problem in absorbing too many content at a time. Give them a break!
Even now a
picture
is equivalent to thousand words. But then you have to put sense to that! Always go for content rich pictures.
Do you think
deadline limits
don’t matter? You are wrong then. It does! Because whatever you do; if it is not reaching the consumers on time they won’t wait. They will move on...
