Job Description o Exper t witness who is called on to testify about a defendants behavior. o Uses inter views, psychological evidence, and the persons back ground the psychologist will give their opinion on the mental state and behaviors of the accused o Forensic psychologists also work on cases involving child abuse, domestic violence, and psychopathic disorders. In which this type of psychologist can also create criminal profiles of suspects based on crime scene


Working Conditions o Usually spend their day working in courthouses, police stations, or criminal detention centers o This is also one of the job careers that can be very stressful o It takes 5 to 7 years of postgraduate education before the certification process can even begin o With this career it is also highly dangerous when dealing with serial killers, witnesses, and criminal trials
