The Community Foundation Awards Grant to Jewish Federation

The Jewish Federation of Greater New Haven is grateful to be awarded a 3-year grant in the cumulative amount of $95,000 to provide general operating support for community-wide programming that helps people in need in the Greater New Haven area. The funds will also be used to nurture and sustain programs that enrich the local community (excluding grantmaking support).

We are proud to have been recognized by this grant award for the work we have done in our community to provide basic needs to individuals, strengthen early childhood and school-age programming with special attention to low-income families, boost access to JCC services for underserved populations through the development of a transportation program, increase services to persons of all ages with disabilities and special needs, and implement additional security measures for our facilities.
