Advisers: Lodgin Leaño, Cherish Marie Etom, Judith Chatto, Junnazen Hernando Zenaida B. Hernando, MT II/OIC Romeo O. Rama, Principal I Should the faceface classes start s a question everyone is busy thinking. Should we implement it or not? We should implement 100 percent face to face classes to have a better understanding of the subject. Better understanding of the subject gives us better grades and betterPhysicalfuture.classes are better because you can listen and learn well without worrying about the internet connection. After two years of no real contact, you can now soxialize freely in real life and not virtual.According to the teachers, some modules are answered by the parents and not their pupils. So we should acknowledge and implement full face-to-face for the welfare of the students.

“Mama, Papa, when can I go out?” This is a common phrase in a household with young children. Adults aren’t the only ones who can’t wait to go outside with no restrictions, children are too. As age limits are slowly being lowered, many children can now go out as long as their parents are with them but, even if they are free, it doesn’t mean that they are safe from the virus. It all the more exposes them to the risk of contracting the deadly virus. According to the Inter-Agency Task Force or IATF on the Emerging Infectious Diseases resolution as of November 4, intrazonal and interzonal movement shall be permitted but with reasonable restrictions. In Metro Manila, children are now allowed to visit malls as they are now under Alert Level 2. This is good news for families who want bonding time outdoors. However, this might lead to community infections as children are prone to COVID 19 just like everyone else and may spread the virus. An article in the website of the American Academy of Pediatrics stated that, children with obesity, lung diseases, and heart conditions are more likely to develop severe illnesses once they contract the virus. Although, studies showed that kids have shown milder symptoms of the disease, this is not an indication that they are safe once they get outside. Take for example the shoppers in Divisoria who bring children with them. The place is packed which means anyone can have the virus and being in contact with them will endanger their health and their children’s. Not all children are responsible enough to remember all the health protocols. They might have contact with other children and get the disease from those infected. There’s also a possibility that they might take off their masks and face shields out of irritation, leaving them vulnerable to the virus. They may also get COVID 19 through the things they touch, especially when they are left unsupervised. This isn’t the time yet for children to be allowed outside. The risks are simply too great and we mustn’t be rash in these matters. We should wait until they are fully vaccinated, in order for them to have protection against COVID. In the meantime, we should teach them about proper hygiene and maintaining social distance. It is important to encourage them to stay at home until the pandemic subsides. Just like Alice entering Wonderland, we might be pushing our children into a rabbit hole that is filled with dangers caused by the pandemic.

Nowadays, most of the pupils are addicted in gadgets which can give negative impact in their health. That is why, physical classes must be implemented so that pupils will not just binge watch on their gadgets wholeBasedday.on the research from TotallyAwesone, a leading kids digital company, 84% of the children in Philippines chose internet to engage with. If these kids will always use gadgets whole day, it may occupy their minds to the point that their education will not be prioritized.Hence, physical classes must immediately commence to solve this uprising problem among children. Presently, the DepEd is now eyeing the full implemetantion of face to face classes on November 2.
