Strand Ephemera 2015 'Project Overview and Collateral'
Affectionately known as ‘The North’s Sculpture Festival’, Strand Ephemera is the largest cultural event in Northern Australia, set along the idyllic 2.2 klm foreshore - The Strand. In 2015 the event showcased conceptually challenging artworks, diverse public programs, family friendly pavement art and sand sculpting, world-class presenters in the Public Art Symposium and mesmerising performances throughout the 10-day festival on a scale never before seen. From the outset the Gallery set out to deliver the biggest and best Strand Ephemera in history, and reward the community for their support and enthusiasm over the many years the event has been staged. A staggering 138,452 visitors flocked to Strand Ephemera 2015, setting a new attendance record for the festival, and more than doubled the 2013 attendance figures.
