Shang Garden is Shangri-La Hotel, Jakarta’s designated ground area where fruits, vegetables and herbs are cultivated. The 306-square-metre area has been home to various plantations since October 2013. Located in the hotel’s tranquil garden and near the pool, Shang Garden can be found at the right side from the direction of the hotel building. The entrance can be accessed through the side of children’s aqua playground. Plants in the Shang Garden area grow healthy, naturally, without pesticide treatments; they are all organic. We believe, foods from organic garden are loaded with nutrients such as vitamins, enzymes, minerals and other micro-nutrients compared to those from conventional garden. With more than 35 kinds of plants in the Shang Garden, our chefs give extra care to the crops.
