VISITATION FROM UMS HOTEL MANAGEMENT STUDENTS

On 14 January 2023, 20 students from UMS 3rd Year Hotel Management Programme visited the resort. The purpose of their visit was to gain insights on the resorts' operation and internship opportunities provided by the resort

19 January 2023 - Mr. Balen's discussion with Marine Police, KK, about sea patrol coverage along the Shangri-La Tanjung Aru. This monthly discussion took over a lunch at Café TATU.

We bade a fond farewell to our Diamond member Long Stay Returnee Guest Ms. Helen Simmonds just before Chinese New Year holidays.

Ms. Helen Simmonds has been staying with us since December 2008 and has been returning to our resort on the same month every year, staying 5-6 weeks each time.

Her favorite room is 9614 as it holds many memories whilst her husband Ernie was still around. The colleagues here are the main reasons for her to keep returning to TAH despite her age and her travels alone.

We hope to see and welcomeher back to our resort this coming December.

Horizon Club Outdoor Terrace Artificial plants VS Herbs Garden

Artificial greens used to fill the Horizon Club Outdoor wall mounted planter boxes. Overtime, due to the exposure of the tropical weather conditions, the artificial plants became worn out and unpresentable.

Our Landscape ManagerMr. Felix recommended that we plant herbs to replace the artificial plants as the area is conducivefor the herbs to grow. The Herbs planted here are dill, mint, oregano and coriander.
